These two want Cade and Skubal traded giving away those two teams their best players. You will never get the full value for them in trades. @@solomo3456 Yes.....right now he's 23. He signs the extension which is up to 4 more years. If they fire Monty and hit the reset button there is no telling how long that process will take. Heck, they could still be quite terrible. At some point Cade could get sick of losing and simply play out his extension and leave us with nothing. You trade him now and then you can start over for real. If they keep him they better be serious about winning sooner than later. I don't personally believe they will.
