Reminds me from a storyline from a superhero comic called Astro City. Essentially, a supervillain was released from jail after serving his sentence and tries to find work. Most places refuse to hire him on account of his criminal record, and he struggles with the few places that do. He's essentially made entirely out of metal and has some super strength on top of that, but his manual dexterity is reduced as a result. There's a scene of him at a dishwasher job with him accidentally breaking plates and getting fired as a result.

This is sadly accurate to the actual comics, where in the early 80s Spidey promised to help Doc Ock out with his personal problems but completely forgot about it, and when he turned back to crime and Spidey came after him going "What the hell man" Ock called him out for not following through.

Doc Ock is the most relatable supervillain since I lost my kids and the gas prices caused me to run out of fuel on a camping trip and lose my car since I couldn’t pay for a tow truck.
