I honestly love your videos Dr. Mike. Fun Fact: In the Navy, our "Nurses" are called Hospital Corpsman, we MUST learn everything in 3 months. It's very stressful and hard. "The art of medicine". Yes. Something that has always stuck with me from my medical training is that diseases don't read medical books. Medicine can be difficult for so many reasons. Always communicate. Ask questions. This goes for parents and medical care participants (doctors, nurses, aids, lab, anyone involved in patient care)

.....or if the macaroni and the banana both leave the bar super drunk and decide to share a cab, then the banana decides she will just crash at his place cause she just CANT ride in a car anymore tonite, and they are both really drunk and the condom breaks and it was the only one, and they both drunkenly say "let's risk it" cause theyve passed the point of no return on the horny line and then a few months later we have baby penne! I always hated having to shake hands, even pre-pandemic, so I really hope they are a thing of the past. You don't know where the other person's hand has been prior to you shaking them. I'm pretty happy with handshakes not coming back, there are other ways to greet people, like waving and saying hi, bowing like the Japanese...lol

One of my reasons to become a nurse practitioner (specifically a neurological one) is because Doctor Mike made me realize that people can do both (also because someone close to me has Parkinson’s disease if you don’t know what that is I can’t really explain it so you would have to Google it)

When he was talking about the screaming it reminded me of something that happened to me as a kid. I've had trypanophobia as long as I can remember and when I was somewhere between three or five, I personally don't remember the incident so I don't remember the year, but a doctor was trying to give me a shot, and I already had my mom holding down one of my arms and two other doctors holding down my other arm and my other leg, so when the doctor got on my leg to give me the shot in my thigh I freaked out and lifted her up off the ground. And she was pregnant at the time so she obviously was a little freaked out after I did that. But she got down and I got the shot.

The fear thing of thinking you did something wrong is also felt by other health practitioners as well. Not to the degree of malpractice like a Doctor who can literally...kill...someone. But that horrible gut feeling that you could possibly have done something wrong to a person is sickening. And the sweet, sweet releif when you realize they loved your treatment and all is well.

I recently bought a scent diffuser from Glade and the scent that comes out of it is SOOOOO one note, it’s sweet vanilla and makes my apartment smell like rice pudding 24/7. A coworker suggested I go to this natural health shop in the mall to find more complex scents. So, I did. As soon as I walked in, the employee ran up with this black vial of essential oils and said “bend down, I’m gonna put a drop of this on the back of your neck, it cures migraines!” There was something so funny about that to me,
