Muhammad Ehsan Lol stupid idiot. Nabu is not a kid, he’s one of the oldest and most powerful magical entities in DC, and he’s been around since the beginning of time. Nabu’s essence is inside the Helmet of Fate, and he uses humans as vessels (when they put on the helmet). And if Fate is one of the most garbage characters in comics then Strange is worse since he’s a shameless copy of Fate. Fate would wreck Strange, even Hulk defeated Strange by breaking his hands

I mean thats essentially the case. Doctor Strange is not weak by any stretch of the mind; he held his ground against THANOS for longer than any one had business doing. Hes probably one of Marvel's strongest Heroes alongside Thor, Iron-Man, Hulk, and Captain America. However he is still very much human... a mortal being. Doctor Fate, is the opposite when he dons the Helmet of Nabu; he becomes a Vessel For a God. The only way to defeat him is to take the helmet off, and very few have done such a thing. To put it plainly: Strange is a Mortal Being who borrows the powers of Gods, Fate is a God borrowing a Mortal's Body. Still, I love both characters, they're both bad asses. Besides if the two met, I doubt they would fight; they are both Good Guys after all.

What I love about both of these characters is that theyre not lazily written wizards with stereotypically vague elemental magic etc. Theres a story behind each spell and trinket and they have unique and distinctive visuals. Makes it more fun to read/watch than just 'Fireball! Lightning bolt! Ice shard!'

Doctor Strange was able to subdue The Living Tribunal, the 3rd most powerful entity in Marvel. I think people seem to forget just how capable Doctor Strange is. During the Incursion arc, he was part of the Black Priests who were powerful enough to withstand a cosmic cube. He went toe to toe with Dormammu, who is on the levels of Trigon.

Y'know I honestly wouldn't see these guys fighting either... why would they? they'd be an unstoppable 2-man hero team... be pretty badass if DC and Marvel did crossovers with those two. I mean they did do it with Spider-Man and Justice League... Spoiler: Spidey was rejected by Batman. XD

They both are pretty close in terms of power but at the end of the day it's got to go to Dr Fate, simply because Doctor Strange is a good guy even before obtaining mystical powers he was a doctor, he has dedicated his life to saving and protecting the lives of others, so its unlikely that he will be willing to go all the way to defeat Fate. Fate on the other hand doesn't give a shit, he'll wipe someone from existence without even a second thought.

Well, with the removal of personality restraints it becomes a little trickier to determine because as with all fictional characters they both have different ranges of power depending on who's writing them. However in the stories that I personally view as the definitive depictions of the characters, yes the outcome would indeed be the same.

Dr. Fate is way above dr. Manhattan, Dr. Fate is the only character to survive the infinite crisis, Dr. Fate basically stalemate spectre which is the embodiment of God's wrath. And if you're going to say that Dr. M can erase or vaporized Dr. Fate's body, Dr. Fate can resurrect through his thought. So yeah, Dr. Manhattan can't win.

This is such a tough match up. I hear what you are saying about Dr. Fate, but at the same time. I think that Dr. Strange's abilities to channel from Vishante is still adequate to challenge Dr. Fate. Its a really tough call to make.

I would say Dr.Strange wins in a close fight. Your reasoning for saying Fate wins doesn't make much sense considering the "limited" powers Strange can channel still had him warping reality, fighting abstracts, creating impossible spells countering the Time Gem, and being broken in general. In fact having read most of Strange's comics I still say he's one of the most broken "superheroes" to ever be in comics despite the nerfs in recent years.
