Doctor Who 3x0 REACTION!! "The Runaway Bride" 

Just to let you know, I know people leave before they see the end card, but they'll be reacting to Classic Who next week. It's only for 1 week to line up Torchwood with this show. You don't need to have seen any Classic Who to enjoy this reaction because they haven't and it was very interesting to watch.

"She screamed all her lines." I would argue that any woman unexpectedly teleported from her wedding would be screaming for a while!

The thing with Donna to begin with is that she is probably the only companion who didn't want to be there at first. Also look at the way her family and friends treat her, as if she is worthless. Don't dismiss Donna just because she doesn't fit your ideal of a 'babe' in the Tardis. Donna probably goes through the biggest development in her tenure than any other companion.

Was I the only one who liked Donna pretty much right away?

I met Catherine Tate at a con and she is one of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. I love her so much. I can't wait until they get to her companion run. So good.

I like Donna because she's one of the companions that takes absolutely zero shit from anyone, be it the doctor or some bad guys.

If they think that alien was freaky, they have no idea what's in store later on... Blink and you'll miss it.

I liked Donna right off the bat, literally. I liked her since the season 2 finale despite being heartbroken over Rose. I loved her little 'oh' when she was transported into the TARDIS. I liked her straight away and by the end of her run I was in love. 😍

That was a great reaction. This is a great Christmas special. Very enjoyable and fun. Their reactions to Donna is pretty much what I expected. She toned down in the second half of the episode. I hope they grow to appreciate the character. Looking forward to the next reaction. They're finally gonna meet Martha! :D

I'm loving all these reactions to one of my favourite shows ever! Also I just thought I'd calculate how much longer it'll take the Blindwave crew to go through all the episodes of Doctor Who and starting from Series 3x1 there's a current total of 101 episodes and 7 specials still to react to (and that's not taking into consideration the 2017 Christmas special and the 13th Doctor's run). So by Siri's calculation these guys won't catch up until 21st November 2019. Essentially there's still 2 more years of reacting to go!!!

I really hope they get into Donna when she returns. For S3, I'm particularly excited for the second half of the series! Human Nature/Family Of Blood (hopefully they'll recognise Viserys and Jojen), Blink and then the Master!!

random fact: as showing real money in a tv show is forbidden in the UK, they made false banknotes with Tennant's face on them for the scene shown at 3.48. You can't really see them on screen as they're being flown out too quickly but a couple of notes are exposed at the British Museum in London.

Rewatching this, and just realized the groundwork for the Earth retcon was laid in the Classic era serial that Susan Foreman left the Tardis. The Daleks were trying to get a space engine at the core of the earth to start running.

Guys, the Doctor without a full series was David Tennant, he took a break for a year to concentrate on doing some stage work which included his Hamlet at Statford Upon Avon. That year we had two Specials, one at Easter, one in November, both were book-ended by two Christmas Specials.

I hope you can find this somewhere but there used to be a music quiz/panel show in the uk called Never Mind The Buzzcocks, David Tennant hosted it one time and Catherine Tate was a guest on it. It’s hilarious so I hope you can check it out!

A few days ago one of the crew I think tweeted a picture of the reception card from the wedding they found And Donnas wedding actually took place 24th December 2005 the day before the Sycorax
