Like Tom Baker after him, Pertwee was playing the Doctor as an idealistic version of himself, from rebellious nature towards authority figures above part of the character to being the most composed and action packed part of the character. He was just being an idealistic version of himself
One of my favorite moments this video skipped has the Doctor asking the giant computer called the B.O.S.S. "If I were to tell you that the next thing I'm going to say to you is true, but the last thing I just said was a lie, would you believe me?" And the B.O.S.S. gets caught up in trying to solve the paradox!
maybe she ran out of clothes and had to go into the doctor's wardrobe, and he was like "oh take that, i'll never wear those. Besides, i don't care for Cricket."
And now the sonic works on ANYTHING, it seems. Actually, seeing as we know it vibrates screws out of their housings, why didnt he just do that instead?
"As a member of the intergalactic police force, I have dedicated my life to the cause of law and order. And law and order can only exist in a time of peace." "... Are you feeling alright, old chap?"
