Yeah, first thing that came to mind about the battle field & turning it into dust, truly is sick (haven't watched the ep yet lol), goes a little into the docs god complex a bit!! Update, the EP was fucking AMAZING!!!~ Damn the emotions in this frfr
Even as someone hooked on him from the start, it was great to see him get to shine in a more serious story. I'm loving the fun of this season, but the show thrives on its range!
I noticed they played the same theme that played when Tennant ran round the new TARDIS - would be great to hear the version from this episode if you get a chance
Bro crossed out “tears” and put “snow” instead. Fr tho this is the first episode of this era where I felt like I was actually watching Doctor Who, not some weird RTD fantasy… welcome back Moff
I found this scene really emotional! It was such a well written episode and all of the character deaths in it made me cry a little bit! Beautiful music, thanks for this! 😢😊
1:57 I adore this little motif. I heard it play in TCORR at around 50:05, and it just fills me with sadness, but its such a beautiful little piece of music.
@@OswinPond It's very tonally reminiscent somehow, but it's not actually Ruby's theme. I thought it was too, but this motif actually doesn't appear in Life of Sunday at all, it only plays whenever her mom is mentioned, so it's really more like a "family" or "longing" theme. It's such a beautiful motif though.
i herd a similar saying once "Where there's tears, there's hope".. wonder where I heard that from? ;) Anyway, do more from this episode, it wasn't that half bad actually, acting was pretty good apart from the weird cringe "babes" crap between the doctor and ruby.
