Rogue: * on one knee giving his ring to the Doctor * "Oh! Oh god....I realy think he's going to die now" was not on my bingo card of reactions to this moment but it did make me laugh cause I felt the drama in your voice. Great reaction.

🤣 Thank you very much. I can't help but see setups like that coming sometimes. There was just too much genuine emotion and symbolism in that moment. Thanks, Andrew! ⏳ I love Jonathan Groff! I first got to know him in GLEE (2010 through 2015). Be sure to catch him as the scene-stealing 'King George' in HAMILTON (2020)... and if you're ever in the mood for a mystery/thriller/horror he knocked my socks off in KNOCK AT THE CABIN (2023).

I just saw an old interview where he was promoting Knock at the Cabin. Always meant to watch that one. I also know that he just won a Tony award. He seems like a very talented person.

Captain Jack was a time agent turned con artist. I wouldn't put it past him to take a bounty hunter job if it was offered though. Timelords are technically shapeshifters. It's just that most of them can only do it twelve times. Regarding the two aliens acting like a human couple in private, I think that was just them playing, pretending to be over dramatic humans for fun. I don't think they knew Ruby were there. I think that's just part of how they play their game.

I thought that was the case about Captain Jack, but I couldn't remember if he'd been a bounty hunter at some point. I thought about Timelords actually being shapshifters later. Didn't connect the dots mentally in the moment. That didn't occur to me about the two aliens just staying character for fun. Makes sense. They are there to cosplay after all. Did he audition? I understood that before he landed the role of The Doctor, he'd told his agent that he'd love to play Wonka or Doctor Who. I haven't seen anything that indicates he auditioned for Wonka.

16:40 to the Chuldur, humans clearly aren't meaningful or valuable. Amusing and cosmetically useful, but it doesn't matter if they live or die. Humans have a very similar hostory with... well, basically every other lifeform we've ever encountered.

I completely missed that and I wasn't familiar with the Scream of Shalka animated series. Always good to see them canonize EU stories. Though further complicated by Richard E. Grant playing the Great Intelligence. If they want to get really crazy, they should canonize Peter Cushing. 🤣 Thanks for the comment and for watching.
