Epic. Not sure if you picked up on the fact he starts from scratch each time, so he has to both be perfect solving the puzzle and then resolute as he realizes how many more times he will fail to escape before breaking the wall. This is the zenith of new WHO so far, but there are still good episodes to come.
I've been watching you guys for ages and I don't think I've ever seen Deepa jump as much as she did when the Doctor flicked the fly! Also, completely agree about the brilliance with which they did this. A superb script from Moffat, an astounding performance by Capaldi and utterly sublime direction by Rachel Talalay came together to produce one of the best ever episodes of Doctor Who (in my opinion).
Time goes by so quickly, and I genuinely have appreciated your channel so much these last years. Thank you two, for the countless smiles, laughs, and tears (from laughing along with you and from pure emotion). I wish you both the Merriest/ Happiest Christmas ever! I look forward to the continuing adventures and videos in 2024! Much love! Also...what a unique episode this is; always enjoyable.
OMG. I'm Swedish, we celebrate Christmas on the 24th. This is my fave ep. BEST. CHRISTMAS. GIFT. EVERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 And I haven't even watched this yet! edit: 10/10! OMG!!!!!!!!!!😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😍😍😍😍😍😍
This is the best episode of Doctor Who. Capaldi is just amazing. Something about this episode has always bothered me, and I don't know if I just missed the explanation or what but: The very very very first time the Doctor gets there, when he comes out of the water, where does he get the dry clothes from? Obviously after that, he changes into the dry and leaves the set for the next Doctor. But how does the very first one get dry clothes? If I've missed something please enlighten me.
This is a great episode, although i don't agree that it's the best. My own opinion, though, is coloured by my dislike of Clara and some of what I can't talk about. . Gotta give credit for how well this is made and to Capaldi's performance. Probably the best actor to play the Doctor. Merry Christmas, Deepa and Luke.
It's a shame that there's a group of people who misunderstand the following episode and write it off... Also, for those people saying 'Heaven Sent' is about getting over grief. It is not. Maybe it is about grief itself, but not necessarily getting over it. I do really enjoy all three episodes, though!
Enjoy. The story ends with this Doctor. After this, they start to change the history of the character and killed the show. Christopher Eccleston is correct in saying that Russell T Davies is a moron. Stephen Moffat was the real hero.
@@karabelle221 waters of Mars, turn left, stolen earth, journeys end, midnight, army of ghosts, doomsday, a good man goes to war, day of the moon, human nature, family of blood, bad Wolf, parting of the ways, Father’s Day etc etc just loads and loads id rank higher than heaven sent. When I think of my favourites heaven sent doesn’t really ever enter my mind
@@obiwankenobi687 Everyone's tastes are different. I didn't like Waters of Mars, Midnight, or Father's Day, but this and next season's 2-part finale are my absolute favourites. There's something for everyone in Doctor Who, I guess.
