Rigsy painted the tardis as a tribute to both of them. You missed the little snippet at the end of Face The Raven. Also, Peter chose to sunglasses so kids could have their own sonic. The screwdriver was much more expensive. Besides, I love the shades; and they weren't stupid. I love my rock n roll Doctor.

On the sonic sunglasses, Peter Capaldi said: “Kids whose parents don't want to shell out for a Sonic Screwdriver toy, they just put on a pair of sunglasses and are Doctor Who. And best of all every celebrity walking into a party with their shades on is now cosplaying Doctor Who, which is awesome. So if it pricks the pomposity of uber-celebs and turns a defect into a superpower and confers star magic on an old pair of sunglasses what could be more Doctor Who than that?”

No way, Jane went into labor and still watched WHO?! She is the Whovian Supreme, The Grand Lady Reactor, and just a plain beast, in the most complimentary way of course. "hoo-ah!"

The Doctor and Clara have been together from the start, from before he actually left Gallifrey and throughout all his incarnations. She saved them all and this was the real payback for her doing that. It's not romantic love, it's a bond that goes beyond that. And now it's over. lol

Just to say that my interpretation of the Doctors affection is more a love for his best friend rather than romantic a love. I think it was a deliberate reason for casting Peter Capaldi to get back to that platonic relationship the Doctor had with his companions in the classic era. Both David Tenant and Matt Smith had romantic narratives that really is a creation of the new-Series. Also I do enjoy how you’re loving Peter now, I remember how hesitant you were at the beginning of his tenure. He gets better in season 10

I love that this was inevitable for them. They were addicted to the rush of adventure and pushed each other to extremes. I have a friend, we stopped going out all night together because neither of us wanted to stop the other and things always go messy, it wasn't a healthy combination. This is a similar thing. And they ended the series by rolling the dice one more time leaving their fate to chance.
