Hard to believe the Mechanoids were only on screen for 5 minutes considering the impact they have on the story

I liked the scene where the Dalek is seen begging for help as it cries out "To-tal-ly Im-mo-bil-ized!" as the Mechanoid applies a "one-arm Bear Hug" and rubs it in by yelling "Trapped! Trapped!" I was hoping the Mechanoid would have continued subjugating that particular Dalek by using its flaming cutting disc to remove the Dalek's ray gun and plunger arms as it yelled "Am pu-ta-ted! Am-pu-ta-ted!"

and people laughed about the daleks and stairs. These guys wouldn't fit down a supermarket lane.

They're kind of like Daleks, only clumsy and impractical.

The ending was a rather intense episode of robot wars.

IDK if people's ears were better decades ago but I'd have no clue wtf the mechanics were saying without subtitles.

The first classic Dalek story I watched. I love both the Daleks and Mechanoids. The Dalek design was beautifully refined and the Supreme Dalek looks fantastic.

Bring back the Mechanoids to the New Who soon! Let Nicholas Briggs do the voice of the Mechanoids, like how he did it in the Big Finish Audio drama and the 2020 Daleks animated webisodes

If I ever get my hands on who wiped the missing Hartnell/Troughton episodes… 💀

I feel like the Mechanoids should come back in new who maybe with some new upgrades but it would be nice to see them facing off against the Dalek’s again.

All the times I have watched The Chase over the years, and I have never looked at the story from their point of view. Thank you for shining a light on their emotional, heart warming, dramatic, life affirming tale. I feel like my life has changed after watching this.

I have to think that the reason the Mechanoids are so large is because they store a lot of tools in their bodies and that when they are deployed, they open up to reveal many mechnical arms with both digits and tools on the end, otherwise I have no idea how they could've built anything. I do enjoy Vicki and the Dr mimicking them.

They should release Mechanoids as Christmas tree ornaments as that's what they look like lol Plus I already have one of the TARDIS.

The archiving work that the Dr. Who fanbase has done is astonishing. It's great to have media from back then archived and available for viewing today...and edited into bite-sized clips for modern audiences who don't have 22 minute-long attention spans! haha

It was written by James Goss and starred Nicholas Briggs, Joe Sugg, Anjli Mohindra, and Ayesha Antoine. It was produced by Studio Liddell.

They are more interesting than the daleks! I wish they’d come back somehow!

Great design and voices but I've never liked the way the battle was depicted. It's like the Director thew his hands up and admitted he couldn't depict it well so just threw a load of stuff at the screen behind a fire effect.

Avoid Sigmund Freud cos he's just an android. Yes I enjoyed Pink Floyd though they made me paranoid. The Daleks got annoyed, whilst being rendered null and void, By an aging humanoid. With their emotions, he just toyed, And some "pepper pots" deployed, by a chubby Mechanoid!
