The beginning of the end... of time... I shed a tear just editing this ep and the next. :'( To watch the next episode RIGHT NOW, UNEDITED to S7E1 ► www.patreon.com/failwhale34 Next ep is TOMORROW... if we touch 1000 likes on the video i'll drop it the first part IMMEDIATELY 🔥PART 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JJ6ip3VeE6Y.html
"Shed a tear." I cried my heart out. Even David Tennant said he "wept buckets" just reading that final script. Somewhere on here there is a video of them filming that final scene. People will tell you Tennant improvised that last line, but it was scripted and they did multiple takes.
You should watch "An Adventure in Time and Space." It's the story of how classic "Who" came to be (the show itself). It brings a tear to the eye of Whovians everywhere, even if you've never actually watched an episode with the first Doctor.
The Doctor retains all his memories when he regenerates, but sometimes it comes with temporary amnesia. Once he recovers fully, he remembers everything. He still feels like a new person though
That brief exchange about Wilf not killing anyone comes from Bernard Cribbins’ life. He was in the military, he never killed a man, and he is very proud of that fact.
Growing up being a classic Who fan when the series came back, I lost my mind when the Time Lords returned at the end of this episode. The wait for the next part was mind destroying just like the two parter at the end of series 4.
I'll get your comment to 1000 likes if you'll post both in the next hour! Been waiting forever to see this reaction and i've gotta assignment to submit by midnight... decisions.
Reeverto xD you still don’t understand lol. You said “I’ll get your COMMENT to 1000 likes” you said COMMENT not VIDEO lol. And what do you mean chill out? I am chill wtf
Timothy Dalton as Rassilon was amazing. The only problem with it is that he sets such a high standard, future incarnations of Rassilon are sure to disappoint.
Wilf and The Doctor's little chats are some of my fav moments. It's just him being him. No over the top excitement or anger, tho I love those too, it's nice when it slows for just a few moments.
iJudoGamer he saw a gif before he knew who wilf was. Way back before season 4 he said he saw wilf in a gif crying when he said bye to the doctor when he gave them a lottery ticket in part 2
I met Bernard Cribbins at comic con last October in London and he was such a lovely man! He had been doing signings the whole day with his wife and he couldn’t stand up out of his chair so I instead crouched down to meet his level and he could only just reach out and ended up touching my head! It was so surreal!
FOr personal reasons ..... i rarely get to rewatch the final Tennant special... not bcause in essence it was a literal end of an era for the RTD era that got me into the show..... but also for personal reasons as just before New Year's EVe 2009 my father passed away... which of course two days before New Year's Day big final ever Tennant special and ..... yeah i was already emotionally SPENT so ... yeah a very unusual time for me..... to describe how i felt would be to watch the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode The Body..... so yeah watching your reaction brings that unusual feeling BUT the other side is... it brings that nostalgia of the big lead up to the big end of an era.... this was a decade before the Endgame/Thrones etc etc..... this was it the biggest television event ever ..... whilst IMO Series 4 was stronger in that big essence..... but this two parter was a literal endgame for that era...... it's not perfect but yes...wow!
You know Koschei is a slavic legend about a man who sought immortality, the name translates as skeleton man. I have no idea how much of the legend they were aware of when naming him and writing about him. But I think it's really wild. And it makes me want to know what kind of message is behind theta sigma. All I've found is that theta was considered an unlucky letter.
IIif you pause the episode when the Master sends out that blue circle to cover the earth, you'll see that the ring is made up of Master faces. It's about 24-24 on this video, give or take a second; I can't get teh pause exactly right, and the screen area is a bit small compared to a full-screen picture. This was mentioned on the DVD commentary, and it took me a few goes to pause at exactly the right moment. Kudos to the special effects team for making that effort that no one will know about unless they alreay know it's there - high odds that no one will ever find it by accident
I feel like this episode could have benefited from just a little more scifi bullshit to explain what was going on with the Master, the potions and the life sucking and the skeleton and the electrical blasts were all a little too high magic for my tastes. It would have been easy to say they built a time lord machine to reconstruct him and that what Lucy did trapped him in a constant state of regeneration, spilling the energy out as the process couldn't complete itself.
Don't get me wrong, there were some good pieces here, but the script needed a massive re-write or two...or three. And unlike Last of the TimeLords, which also had script issues but made up for it in other ways (music, pace, great direction) this one couldn't really be salvaged.
26:12. At this moment when T.D., sprays saliva, I always hear in my mind, actress Pamela Ferdin (spelling?) when she said to another "Space Academy" character, "Say it, don't spray it!" On a big screen TV it stands out! But anyway, does anyone remember their time being a part of, "The Master Race"? 😒 I know that I must not have been driving! Imagine all of the vehicle wrecks caused during the transformations! Cars, trucks, trains, airplanes, boats! Ships too if they were docking or leaving port. 😳
John King yes but we didn’t know that until the end of part 2 so they made it seemed like it was the master which considering the master was the only one who knocked four times at that time it wasn’t a surprise it was going to be the master until the end of part two when the extra shock is that is was Wilfred all along
I really think the writers did this eposide just to see john simm wearing and jumbing in A dress 😂😂 I didn't love this eposide cause i didn't understand it.. They made the master as thor and the doctor was all over the places 🐼 But i have to say.. David tennant crying.. 💔
Sillon, Rassilon, Time Lord 000 For those wondering About how Rassilon is back after being Dead for so long, now (his tomb is Even seen in "The Five doctors"), you gotta listen to "Gallifrey: Time War" audio set in From "Big finish" Stories! It explains how how he returns! Quite a genius way if you ask me!!
They have to pull a Rita repulsa from Power Rangers really seriously that's pathetic after coming up out of that cauldron why the weight of a post that came up out of those sewers really truly pathetic
The last episode was luckily resolved last episode. It doesn't get addressed because she still inspired her family to travel to space, she just died on earth instead of Mars. Somehow the doctor seriously lucked out
