This is a 2012 Dodge Ram with the 5.7 Hemi. Lifter failure is common. The lifter in this video broke off and the best thing to do is completely disassemble or replace the engine. Thanks for watching!
Yes, I agree. It should be a recall. Also the Chevy LS should be recalled also. I've performed so many lifter replacements and dod/afm deletes. Of course, if they recalled them, I would loose a lot of work/income, lol.
Not sure if your asking lifters w/no new cam and without getting all the debris out. There's always the correct way and the wrong way for any problem. Every situation is different but I tend to prefer not have vehicles come back for the same reason or come back for issues caused by inappropriate quick fixes.
Yup just the roller lifters and just get the debris i know its not the right way but that way it can last me at least one more year I can order the lifters do you know if there all the same size
