@@JuanRamirez-gu7dh yes, 800 pounds lighter, 85 horsepower more, and yes it barely pulled away, but if they would have kept going the car lengths only would have kept adding on…
The rt sounds great. I have one and I was actually between that and a 5.0 but maybe once I can afford a mustang with a comfortable/good looking interior I’d be on board
I read that title and i laughed because i know that gt is going to violate that 5.7 …. Mustangs are so good that the competitor for the 5.7 is the 3.7 cyclones A proud owner of a 3.7 ♥️
The 5.0 is a lighter car with more hp Dodges need the HP advantage to even be competitive. There's a reason a 392 with almost 500 hp runs with a camaro making 450 and a Mustang making 435
That’s were ur wrong lol the right mods and tune pretty much any car is a threat i was 520 to the wheels with just a supercharger and bolt ons and still ahead of fbo e85 10 speed 0-140 and I got a 14 5.7
Idk people b hating on the 5.7 production engine. But I drive a 2019 5.7 challenger and I did simple performance intake, throttle command with a throttle body spacer, 4-1 long tube bbk headers, no cats no mufflers no resonators, performance camshaft and a dyno tune and I’m safely making 800+whp, the 5.7 is a sturdy production engine, my plan is to put a 3lt whipple supercharger on it and I’ll be faster then any mustang or hellcat or any other land vehicle really. On e85 with a ported intake and forged pistons on slicks.
I agree that the 5.7 is a good engine but even fully built there’s no way your getting 800 horsepower out of that engine. Especially without forced induction, all of the mods you mentioned could tops add maybe 100 horsepower, still putting the engine at around 450 but that would be at the crank and not at the wheels. Either that or there’s many many mods you have left out of the equation basically making it not even a 5.7L hemi anymore.
The 5.7 is not a racecar. It sounds good and is faster than 90% of regular cars on the street. However, it will lose to anything that's tuned and most sports cars. I have a 5.7 and I won't race anything, not even a Altima. I just cruise and hit it every once in awhile, but only on a straight away by myself.
a 5.7 is very restricted so most people do long tube headers, cam, tune and cold air intakes to run with 6.1 & 6.4(scatpacks)The 5.7 is the best for boost also
You just set it up to add more power hood on you im still stock af but I plan on starting with that sort of stuff, I would go for headers next but I would make sure I don’t need to beef anything else up with it
seen the rt in real life n talked with bro about his mods, he can gap stock scats and beat stock 5.0s the 5.0 is not stock or he removed some of his mods or got a different tune, but to my knowledge bro got, cam, e85, headers, intake and tune
Not a chance hemi boy .. that wasn’t even a compatible race . If you were racing an older 4.6 yea that would be oranges to oranges. The newer coyotes competition is the 392. And if u want to give the coyote boost then we are in hellcat territory.
Ummm not sure why u would waste gas on a slow RT boat…they can’t even hit 500hp with Fbo. Mustang needs cam and fbo with e85 tune and it can take down hellboats.
You can hear the turbo on the 5.0. Watch 10 times and you can here which is which but mustang and mooar put anything up for views. Lol start doing whole videos with this content. Cuz its half azz
That’s not a 5.7 with that sound and that acceleration that’s a 392 and based off of how fast y’all are pulling off that’s gotta be gt500 or something electric I don’t hear a sound at all from yall
@@ohaxgie uh yupp I’m wrong tried to sound real smart wasn’t smart I was too high that’s a 5.7 that sound is a 392 Intake the pull off is the 100+ hp difference + weight and 10 speed transmission converts power much smoother and faster than the 8 speed 😭
until you realize it cna make 700 hp on stock internals😂 and just because the 5.0 is faster (5.0 is in competition with scats) dosent mean the 5.7 is a bad engine. the build potential is much better than the 6.4 scat build potential
