Our 06' Dodge Ram 3500 5.9L Cummins is having some tyranny problems. We will try to post as much videos as possible to keep everyone updated. Please if you know what the problem is please comment and help me out.

So an update on this situation is that my torque converter was bad. So I had that changed out. Haven't had a problem yet.

Hi, The video you posted on your dodge when putting in gear and truck pulling bad, what was the problem . was it the torque converter? Thanks in O'Neals Ca.

I'm presently experiencing this exact problem (same year, make, and model), and I was informed it was the TC earlier today. You basically just confirmed that. Thanks for the video.

I had that problem changed the torque converter fixed it a lot more but I didn’t change the governor solenoid yet because of money issues but I would say torque converter for you since I saw your vid of the governor solenoid change and have you tried torque converter or your transducer

The ending result was that I had to change my torque converter and that problem went away. I went with an upgraded TC.

My 06 3500 will literally stall my engine instantly when put into reverse or drive, would that be a locked torque converter also.

Yea kinda sounds like what mines did, but mines didn't stall out, but it got close.

Its was the torque converter. Theres a bad "sprag bearing" that goes bad and u have to change out the whole torque converter.

Actually it was the "sprag bearing" that went bad. It was stuck in lock up, and couldn't disengage when in idle.

I know what it is there is a throttle petal position sensor they are known for going bad

Mines was the torque converter. Apparently in 2006 dodge decided to install "bad batch" torque converters, where the sprag bearing goes out and u get the symptoms that you see in this video.
