I love it. Monumental flooring costs for Dodge dealers for all the built-up inventory. Serves them right. I realize not all dealers have tried to gouge their customers, and I feel for them (just a little), as they are all suffering for the crap pulled by the other dealers, and by Dodge not standing up and helping their once-loyal fan base. Screw them. And like you suggested previously, I hope Stellantis will admit defeat and sell the division to someone who will care about the brand.

Great video man saw a dealer near me with the same 2023 for over 400 days. Thought people would overpay to get it in 2022 and it just sat. Guess they are hoping 0% financing comes back I just want to watch them suffer.

The phrase "floor plan" reminds me of a dealer I worked for in the 80's. I worked in the shop of a Chevy dealer that was owned by a guy that owned several dealerships. He was about a build a new building for a Toyota dealership. He presented the drawings to Toyota to show them what he was gonna build. Toyota didn't approve, he said he didn't care if they didn't like it, its his building and he's gonna have the building he wants. Toyota said they wouldn't Floor Plan his inventory if he didn't build a building that they approved of. He said he didn't care about them Floor Planning, he would pay cash for the cars. He paid cash for the cars. Also, his daughter drove a '62 Corvette, she didn't like the mpg she was getting. He came out to the shop and asked me to price up a job that would put a new 229 V6 in the vette. The parts girl and I wrote it up, he didn't go for it. I put a 390cfm carb and HEI on the stock engine, it got 21 mpg, it was good enough for the daughter.

Hometown motors has one Challenger in stock and two Chargers. Plenty of Grand Cherokees and Ram Pickups that are in demand. They are now stocking more basic Grand Cherokees.

Just found a 14 Demon 170 stash in a garage of a SoCal dealer near you OC, in the OC! Can share the video with you if you’d like. Dealer seems to be willing to hold on to create a “shortage”. These must be from several dealers consolidating because I can’t see one dealer having all 14 allocations. And it wasn’t a Dodge garage. Smart to hold it under a different car brand if they own that dealership with nice storage space.

Stellantis is recalling almost 285,000 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans in the United States. That another big problem. So they are selling a car that I wouldn’t pay no more than $32K for $84K can somebody be that 🤪 to purchase that ridiculous overpriced vehicle? The deterioration on those vehicles being on the lot for a long time will take its toll. That salesperson/dealer is the prime example why the car industry is in the mess they are in. I work at a dealer across the street from a Dodge dealer in Texas and their lot is packed with Chargers, Challengers and Hornets that don't seem to move from their spots.

I wouldn't pay mark up on any vehicle. Eventually dealerships have to lower to MRSP or below or go under. Everything is supply and demand.

I think all the car makers have lost their minds flat out!! None of these cars that they are building today is definitely not worth what they are asking price wise! I've got a Silverado that's had alot of issues before it left the showroom floor and it got worse once it got off the lot!! My older Ford has had zero problems as of yet and it's still got parts on it from 1988!! All these college hires and they can't build a proper car etc Drop the prices and they'll sell cars and trucks etc, by the way this is a great video👊😎

If they are getting hammered on floorplan expense and lot rot, here's a thought, sell the cars. Get rid of "market adjustments" and dealership accessories, sell 10% under sticker, and start moving metal.

Just picked up a charger sxt with cold weather package for almost 25% off msrp with no added accessories. the lower trim mopars are selling, but the more expensive ones are sitting.

Way back in 2006 I bought a brand new Black Charger R/T made by Daimler. I changed the the R/T badge on the deck lid from chrome to red, went to flow master exhaust and a few years later bought a set of 08 R/T 20' wheels and some nice rubber and drove that car for all these years and still only have 79K on it. And it still looks great! I thought about selling it and buying a newer Charger but went to the Dodge dealer and was blown away at the prices. Great car but they've lost their minds. Sad to see what this Stellantis company has done to Dodge. So I started checking to see what my car was worth now. The more I looked I saw these old R/T's are gaining value not losing value over the past year or so. I saw all these mod builds of older Chargers and starting adding a little here and there to improve my 06 starting with all new after market custom lights and the more I looked at it the more I realized what a sweet looking car it still is and that 5.7 purrs like a kitten and still hauls ass. So I'll keep my $100K in my pocket and drive this classic Charger R/T till the wheels fall off. And maybe some day my son can sell it for more than I paid for it back in 06. lol I dig the channel man! I always learn something on here.

I saw the blue Superbee on a lot in Canada new for 64k US dollars plus tax. So it was 87k Canadian. Up here those prices are even crazy. Like in the States though prices are all over the place but always cheaper than in USA. Special edition or not , folks have lost interest in discontinued vehicles. I saw a new Sublime Swinger Challenger for 60k US dollars.

In light of recent issues with Information being got and sold from the computers, not even counting issues i've heard from some potential lemons, I would not ever buy anything newer than my current ride, A 2006 dodge Magnum SXT. I almost rather stay in the era of the mid 00's than buy new. And yes i don't even have a Hemi, but these cars are solid for the age. I'm already considering finding the parts to convert my car to a hemi. I guarantee it'll be cheaper than buying new

Last year in December, I traded-in my 2020 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack widebody for a 2022 Dodge Challenger Hellcat widebody. My car is black with red leather interior. When I bought it, it had 10,000 miles on it. I paid $75, 000 plus tax, license, extended warranty and everything else. I feel I got a good deal for it.

Back in the 70s I ordered a New 76’ Oldsmobile Starfire GT $6,000 from the factory costing less than Mfg price. You could fly to the factory and drive it home saving destination charges. The dealer markup on these cars today is Crazy 😮 I used to sell Toyota Lexas back in 2005. We were selling 1,000 + cars a month at our Los Angeles dealership. We had access to 60+ banks to finance virtually anyone. 🤔 The buyer only cares how much a car costs a month 🤔

I got a ‘22 WBSP Charger at the same price point as your Swinger (with options), same mileage. Even if I got a $60K offer like you did, I still couldn’t swing a Hellcat for $10K under… today’s interest rates are just that bad. With 810 credit I’d be lucky to break 8%, and I’m simply not paying that! My existing payment is already $1070 at 4.94% and I put $7K down on the Scat! (My KBB trade value has tanked $24k since purchase.) Even with the “20-50% down payment rule” I’d be paying out the a$$ on a $40K loan for one of these cars. It just ain’t worth it. I’ve got a family and a million other things to be spending money on, and I’m sure millions of other guys are in my position. Hence the cars still sit…. PS if I wanted to spend $70K again I’d get a lightly used BMW M8 Comp Gran Coupe and I’d be able to blow the doors off almost any vehicle short of a $200K supercar…
