I understand we have a lead but this team looks very very questionable. I just have this weird feeling we don't see them take off. We have yet to see them truly string hits together. What makes the dodgers so insane every year is they pass that baton, and keep it moving. We're are constantly seeing 1 game 10 runs next game 1-3. Last year the runs at 2 outs were insane. This year ALL YEAR it feels like the inning is over after 1 out. This year we are constantly letting runs score with two outs or at 2 strikes. Other than bombs and pitching having some good starts. What makes this team super special. I love this team, but I don't want to see them be a gimmick padre like team with hype just around the superstar hitting a homerun. I'm happy lux is starting to heat up

We don't have any contact hitters and guys who can work counts! Too many high strikeout guys in the lineup! That is why the RISP numbers are bad! Everybody swinging at pitches out of the zone and immediately getting in bad counts. Approach needs to change or results will continue to be the same!

Dmac- Might be time to start looking for new hitting coaches, this bunch can't seem to teach players to hit under pressure or situationally. 5 players hitting .200 and striking out 30% of the time is horseshit by any standards. These same players all seem to have the same defect, swing harder not smarter. They load up and cup the barrel even on strikes over the heart of the plate, there by swinging under the pitch. At some point you can't continuing being the Padres and Diamondbacks bitches. They think and believe they can win a 3 game series. Trade Freeman while you can still get something for him.
