Action packed day on Mount Nebo. Afternoon storms were in the forecast so I was up early to get this one in before they hit. I got slowed down a bit getting to the trailhead but once on trail I was able to keep moving fairly quickly to the summit, arriving before the storms moved in. During my time at the summit the clouds developed very quickly and became darker and darker. Luckily I was able to make it down off the rocky peak/ridge in time, it hit just as I was making it back into semi treed parts of the trail. It was very entertaining and I was happy to be on the outskirts of the storm, mostly wind and a little hail. I got to hear plenty of thunder and see a few strikes as well. Awesome day on the highest peak in the Wasatch Range.
