In this video, I compare the interior build quality and material choices of a 2024 RAV4 and a 2024 Toyota Tundra. Lately, the Toyota fanboys and fangirls have been getting salty about my complaints. I see my complaints more as being transparent about my ownership experience with my 3rd gen Tundra. There's a lot I like about my Tundra; that's why I bought it! However, there are some things that need to be discussed and pointed out. So, does the RAV4 actually have a better interior? Tune in and hear my thoughts!

Just saw your newest video you posted yesterday. We have a 2024 Rav4 Limited Hybrid. Fully loaded and other than a rattle in one spot where I managed to fix myself, it has been great so far. The interior is WAYYYY better, especially in the Japanese made ones

I’m in a super remote area in northern saskatchewan. At a small lake with less than 500 ppl and saw a new gen toyota tundra being hauled away on a trailer. Where there is smoke there is fire. I’d be interested in a japanese made gx550 with this engine but not till the kinks are worked out (gonna wait a good 5 years). Currently have a 23 4R & 17 LX570. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

The RAV4 was designed and engineered in Japan as a global product. I think that could be a factor as to why some things may be more thought out.

Got a new RAV hybrid in August; love it. Looked at a Tundra last month, it feels cheap. Went with a Silverado with the 6.2 for less $ and it gets better mileage too.

Tried to buy a new rav4 last year but it too is cheap so we went with a Lexus NX 250 for a better quality interior!

The current RAV4 got noticeably cheaper inside compared to the previous rav4 So to be cheaper than that says something. My theory is that tundra was going to be axed by Toyota and Toyota USA talked them into continuing So a limited budget was thrown into it to come up with something and here we are
