I'm a Celtic fan. Ange is a person that will command respect the moment he steps through the dressing room doors. He's got a massive presence about him. People scoffed when Wenger turned up at Arsenal, i have a feeling Ange will have a.decent impact on Spurs if you give him a season. He likes to play constant, high temp non stop football. From what I've seen from Spurs the last season is a team full of work shy egos. Ange will need a season to ship out and replace the wage thief within that club. And there are many of them.

As a Kiwi Spurs fan, growing up watching the A League and the NSL before that, if we get him, I’d be over the moon with Postecoglu. Yes, he needs certain players but he will look though those players that fit the system rather than the huge names. Seeing what he’s done in previous clubs, if he can get what he needs there it could be a great chance for Spurs.

As an Aussie, I'll tell you he's like godfather of Australian football. I know Australian football team is not really good, but maybe because i see him with rose tinted eyes, and also because he has been doubted at beginning pretty much everywhere he went and proved them wrong, I think he'll do well if he's given time. EPL next season is gonna be extremely competitive. City is City, I dont see Arsenal dropping off, Liverpool will be back, United will improve, even Chelsea wont have the same season, so expecting hik to finish top 4 in his first season is a bir harsh i think, especially considering all the other top 6 teams, even Newcastle and Villa are most likely gonna spend more than Tottenham. Have reasonable expectations, he plays electrifying brand of football so i expect to see progress in playstyle but he plays very risky football (kinda like Ten Hag in a way), so you might see some damning scorelines here and there in his first season like with Ten Hag.

I would have wanted him to stay at Celtic, get them deep into the UCL, before making them jump to a big club in England. It's just that Spurs do not fully back their manager and have a difficult fanbase. Lastly, they need a complete rebuild of their CM and centre-backs (and GK) before playing it his way. Simon Jordan speaks more sense than all of the other so called experts put together. He knows football from the position of the top spot at a club. As an older Spurs fan, I think most people that have supported the club as long as I have understand, that this guy is exactly what we need right now...and yes, we will give him time. I admit that our fanbase is split, for some reason, some of our Johnny come lately supporters seem to think we have a devine right to win something. When some call Poch a loser because he never actually won anything, shows a total lack of respect. I mean, hey, we were winning everything before he came, and obvs since he left. So, forget the deluded idiots, most true Spurs fans will see why Ange has been appointed and give him time to work his magic.

Postecoglou plays an attacking style of Australian football which is unique compared to other styles in the world. The players are always moving and passing forward. Look at the official symbol of Australia, it's the kangaroo and emu, the only two animals that can't take backward steps, only forward steps. This shows how an isolated culture and environment can shape unique styles of football. This style would surprise the EPL like it has with the Scottish league.

@@CME1994 Aberdeen had not been active enough off the pitch the last 40 years to stay constantly close. It took for Rangers to be out the league and Celtic to sit still for Aberdeen to look like challenges but they never really were. Cormack seems to be cja ging the culture at the club and doing a lot off the pitch which has been badly needed for a long time. His only downfall is thinking the club would be better with a 15k stadium at the beach. Pittodrie needs work sure but it can be done over time and see gradual rewards over time. Hearts built their new mains stand and attendances have been up ever since. They have also been active off the pitch non stop since Ann Budge came in and it pays off. Their average attendance this season was almost max capacity. By the looks of it, they could easily add more seats and fill them, bar away fans. I would not be surpised if we hear Hearts plan to fill in their corners at some point which will requiare a big spend for them but they don't seem scared of that stuff. Inwant Aberdeen to be bigger but they need to do better off the pitch for that and fans need to be going to the games. 15k average attendance for a 22k stadium is poor.

As a Spurs fan I wholly agree that for the past 2-3 seasons we'd be relegation material without Harry K because arguably he's our best defender, our best midfielder by a long stretch and seemingly our only source of goals ... Daniel Levy got rid of Poch (who gave us the best 3-4 seasons we've had since Martin Jol and Harry Redknapp) for whatever reason and since then we've tried 'serial' winners' in Jose and Conte but their mind numbing defensive, counter attacking tactics were wholly, solely, totally, completely and utterly reliant on Harry K and Sonny (to a lesser extent last season) and they made them look a lot better than what they were ... in my opinion, Ange P is the manager we needed (as for the other options, Arne Slot looked good because let's face it, Ajax are on a downturn and as for Enrique, I reckon I could turn up once a fortnight via video link to manage Barcelona and Spain and I'd still win a fair bit) because Ange knows this is a TEAM game and by all accounts he's already taking the steps to solidify the defence, making our midfield more expansive and attack minded and he'll galvanise the whole side to get the ball back at each and every opportunity (because simply put, if we have the ball, they opposition don't score) and once more our team will be greater than the sum of it's individual parts ... by so doing he'll take the pressure off Harry K, Sonny, Kulu and Richarlison to fill in gaps so they can get back do what they do best and I honestly believe they will do it by the bucket load ... people bang on about the SPL being a two horse race but let's face it, the EPL currently is a one-horse race so it's fair to say it's possible we might not win anything in the seasons ahead (like every other Spurs fan I hope we do) but primarily I just want us to be great watch once again and anything else on top of that is a bonus ...
