Hey guys did a test to see if fuel doctor actually does break down water in fuel, very interesting results. Hope you all enjoy. Follow the adventures on instagram @twox4x4
I think 10% water is not realistic. Say an 80 litre tank of fuel would contain 8 litres of water? No way. I would think 1 cup of water in 80 litres so 250 mils of water. Therefore in 100grams of fuel you should have put no more than 0.3 grams of water. Also your pinches of dirt. Way, way over the top. Not realistic at all.
They 1ml for 1L is to maintain your fuel tank, not to remove all the water. I just done the first shock treatment in my 07 kun26 Hilux and I previously had 1 injector knocking and now after 50kms it’s almost impossible to hear. I reckon this is good stuff, I’m going to be putting in about 50ml every fill up at least and if I fill up somewhere sketchy I’d put even more in.
Yeah I agree with that I reckon it's made my engine less harsh aswell but I just feel like when they say it removes water atleast tell the consumer how much you actually need to use to clear it up if you know what i mean.
I have done injectors and pump in my patrol and since I use this stuff once every few months to keep the fuel system happy for hopefully a long time!!! Actually notice a fair improvement in economy too using fuel doctor
you dont get garden dirt in your fuel from a service station. water condensation build up in tanks sludge and micros build up over time. its supposed to get break that stuff down. and lubricate your diesel pump. i use and are going to keep using it. it also prolongs the life of your fuel.
