{Part 1} I visited the Kyoto City Zoo in October 2023 just for a day. I will divide the footage into a number of episodes, because they are too long for me to edit as well as for you to watch.😁👍 I started filming right after the zoo opened. The family was still at their indoor exhibit. Momotaro is lying on ropes. Genki and Kintaro are resting on a beam of the structure. Genki may be trying to treat Kintaro's cracked heel. She eventually starts working on her own fingers. Gentaro is sitting in the corner of the room. The family becomes active. Genki becomes a little agitated, scratching her body. Out of nowhere, Kintaro bangs on the viewing window. Momotaro climbs up and down the structure. Gentaro is observing him. Momotaro comes near the viewing window and carefully watches the outside environment. Then he sits down, waiting for the gate to open. Gentaro teases Genki. It seems only Genki was a bit nervous before the door was opened. When the gate opens at around 9:30am, Momotaro goes out first, followed by Kintaro, Genki and finally Gentaro. Gentaro comes to the wooden crate and sits on the edge, eating Kudzu leaves (vines). Momotaro sits on a beam, eating some kind of stem. Is that Sorgo? Please correct me if I'm wrong! Genki is roaming the exhibit, collecting Chinese cabbage. It seems she prefers Chinese cabbage over other plants and vegetables. This is very interesting to find out. The video ends with Kintaro brachiating to get what looks like a sorgo. I hope you enjoy watching!
