One of my oldest family friends died of cancer after working with glyphosate in the turf industry for decades. He was a non smoker and drinker, clean life Christian. He fought the cancer whilst it was in his liver, which is where glyphosate is known to cause cancer after entering the body when the liver tries to filter it out. As soon as it spread from his liver he died really quickly. His family came to Australia from ww2 bombed out Poland with what they could carry. I'm surprised you use a qualifier like "really" in your title, when there's over 13,000 current lawsuits. Just imagine how many people have a story like mine with no lawsuit attached to it.
Strange how no one has actually without a doubt confirmed that glyphosate is a carcinogen then...the WHO classes it as the same risk level of red meat, whilst health and environmental bodies for the US, Canada and the EU have all concluded that it is not carcinogenic...
@@georgeatkey1755 It's called billions and trillions of dollars bro. The whole world uses it. Yea. I am sure they are gonna take it right off the market for a chance of cancer. Grandfather died from Lymphoma cancer after fucking with it in lawn care. It's the people who use it day to day, or, are veggie eaters that catch this shit. Child cancer rates increasing, etc. I don't fuck with veggies on purpose. Unless I grow them myself.
Your family friend did not get cancer from glyphosate. Glyphosate is not "known to cause cancer" in the liver or anywhere else. The number of lawsuits do not determine science. Just imagine how many more people like you believe the nonsense of the Rat Lawyers.
probably didn’t wear gloves or a mask… if your boss tells you something is so safe you can even rub it on your dick, well first of all he’s certainly a republican, and second of all you’re stupid if you believe him
Lamb isn't normally a baby like Joe said. Anything under a year is called a lamb and they tend to process around 11-12 months and call it lamb. They also butcher a lot of steers/cows around 12 months and call them yearlings, but we just see "beef" at the market.
"Glyphosate: The world top weed killer worth 66 Billion$. It's in cookies, breads, corn, crackers, chips, breakfast cereals, cow feed, and beer, and the list goes on and on and on."
@@andrewilson8096 Glyphosate shouldn't even be used on any crops. Since it kills almost all PLANTS. not only things we consider to be "weeds". Glyphosate purpose is to destroy weeds before even planting crops so there is *zero chance of you consuming it. And herbicides like MCPA breaks down within 2 weeks. * -"Fun" part when crop growth stages are mixed up due to environmental factors it's very convenient to kill wheat so you would harvest relatively dry grains. And there are also modified crops which are immune to glyphosate so you can just use it as cheap weed killer instead of something more sophisticated like same MCPA.
I first became aware of the link between lymphoma and glyphosate not long after my dog was diagnosed with it. I don't use any glyphosate weed killers now.
Just because some pea protein has a glyphosate problem doesn't mean all the food has it. And also, animals that you eat eat the glyphosate polluted crops too (most of the cases)
Joe thinks if you fall into a pig pen they will eat you. THAT is hilarious! (he watched The Wizard of Oz when he was stoned and thought it was a documentary.)
Far less. Cows have 4 stomachs, they filter things out WAY better than humans do. Now cow liver? who knows. But beef, not likely, and def not as much as any grains.
I just want to yell IT’S A MAJOR CARCINOGEN!! WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW!? I mean what the fuck? Regardless of all the rest wrong with glyphosate, it is a time and time again proven carcinogenic substance, why would you voluntarily ingest it, especially on a regular basis if it is extremely proven to cause lymphoma? If you avoid cigarettes because you know they’re unhealthy it’s the same concept. Simple.
I wouldn't drink glyphosate (the amount in vegetables is very low since it's supposed to be a defense mechanism, but still isn't good for your body) , but there was someone who said it's so safe that they would drink a quart of one (0.95 liter). Patrick Moore, ex co-founder of Greenpeace that now shills for companies that do environmentally destructive activities (oil, forestry, paper, nuclear, etc.) said that he would drink a quart / liter of glyphosate to show its safe. He was interviewed about this statement. The interviewer called on his bluff and said "Would you like to drink some? We have some." Patrick then stupidly says "I'd be happy to, actually not not really, but I know it wouldn't hurt me." The interviewer says "If you say so then then I have some glyphosate..." immediately then Patrick says "No no, I'm not stupid," and still tries to shill hard for Monsanto (owner of Roundup). He finally bails the interviewer knowing that someone will question his bullshit. Here's the video and is 1 minute long: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-43c89Z2hqxU.html
You got that right. Monsanto have given us Glyphosate, DDT, Agent Orange, PCB's...they are an abomination and a disgusting example of corporate malfeasance, political corruption and purveyors of junk science for profit. Bayer are just as disgusting. They gave us heroin as a cure for morphine addiction. 😂 They also pulled a HIV tainted drug from the US market and then distributed it in South America and Eastern Europe. Wonderful corporation.
its all about the concentration the dose is poison. just because you can detect it doesnt mean that is the reason you got cancer. offcourse pesticides (or plant protection chemicals as they call it in the field) are bad for you and cause cancer just as many other chemicals do just dont get into contact with em
My guess is that the wild sheep was gamier, so probably tastes like a whole other animal than farm sheep. Have you ever tasted the difference between wild boar and pork? The wild boar taste more similar to buffalo than pig.
This is an important difference between Country folks and CIty folks. Country folks recognize that cattle, pigs, and can and should be loved, but at the end of the day, they are food, not family.
Na tu That’s a political policy issue that has to do with your congressional representatives and doesn’t have anything to do with whether or not glyphosate is safe. Most of the payouts have been given to people who grossly misused the product and have cancers which do not have a definitive cause. Sugar can cause cancer. Oxygen can cause cancer. Water can cause cancer. The question is whether the product can be safely used when following the instructions.
Na tu Glyphosate has the largest body of scientific studies of any agricultural chemical. It’s use is what fixed the Dust Bowl as you no longer need to strip the fields. It has also increased productivity decreasing the greenhouse gasses to feed people and decreased the cost of food so we can better feed the poor. There are tangible goods that have come with its use. Color me skeptical when a handful of studies claim it a likely carcinogen (not even a definitive carcinogen) when they look at concentrations above what you would be exposed to if you stood in the field and had it sprayed on you like you’re a corn stalk. Also, cancer detection and classification methods have progressed leaps and bounds in the past decade. We look for it more, we’re better at finding it, and we can name it when we do. In the past, you wouldn’t know and would just die.
Bingo... Really glad scientific consensus is now being determined by 12 idiots who can't get out of jury duty... Also consensus is not a scientific thing.
Exactly. It's morons on juries being swayed by emotional arguments and not evidence. If Roundup was meaningfully dangerous, we'd see some level of consistency. Like we do with asbestos and tobacco smoking. We don't. We've got a handful of cherrypicked cancer cases with no clear links.
My dad is a physician and was a Cancer specialists for years and he's also an advocate of holistic medicine and he says that glyphosate definitely are carcinogenic. Who cares if it's carcinogenic or not this crap does it need to be in our food supply, PERIOD.
They have been poisoning our food for eons, they never tell the truth, they lie about everything and even fabricate fraudulent scientific research to validate their nefarious narratives. Imagine what we do not know, like the stuff they are spraying in the chemtrails right before a good rain, so it soaks our soils and all crops. Fast a few days a week and drink DE(Diatomaceous Earth, Bentonite clay)
I think the most ironic part of this is the plethora of other lawn chemicals there are that people have no idea exist. Hell, I bought a 2.5 gallon jug of MSMA last week.
Jason Reyes i do grow my own. i offset the losses. i plant one for mother nature, one for the bugs and one for me (and never use chems). and yeah it is impossible to grow it all... and to survive on cucumbers and tomatoes only 😉✌
Blue Dragon scientists have unanimously agreed through research that glyphosate is safe. The court rulings that have recently come out, were decided by a jury of 12 normal people who had no knowledge of the actual effects of the active ingredient. Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the world, it would not be used as much as it is if it wasn’t a safe product. Farmers know which products are dangerous and they use them as little as possible, if at all.
DefectiveSword vegetables can’t think feel or suffer so don’t experience anything at all. Which means killing them falls outside the moral sphere. Inb4 plants have feelings; Plants aren’t sentient. They can react to stimuli, which is one of the four basic definitions of life, but they don’t have a subjective experience of life. Extensive research has been done into this for over 100 years. It’s pretty conclusive by now, no matter how many people try hooking ferns up to polygraph machines.
Glyphosate has to be applied to the foliage to be effective. It brakes down to a type of fertilizer in the soil. This means, probably, that a lot of plant material has this stuff in it as it's been in wide spread use for decades. Industrial fungicide is likely causing an outbreak of untreatable infections in more hospitals than anyone will admit.
NO, IT KILLS BACTERIA IN SOIL PLANTS & OUR GUT Ingesting glyphosate, a patented antibiotic, could be the cause of multiple health problems Monday, November 27, 2017 - Over 250 million pounds of glyphosate, the world's most heavily used herbicide, was sprayed on US crops in 2015, ten times the amount of 20 years ago and the amount continues to increase exponentially. While sprayed on the leaves of plants, glyphosate finds its way into the soil and up through and into the plant, fruits, grains, and vegetables that we eat.
BCFinancials lots of us that have eating disorders look fine on the surface. That said, I’m also very curious to hear what he has to say ok the subject
@@JoycenatorGaming I come with ignorance, questions, and an open mind. I'll google Michael Malice to see if he opens up about it. I wish you the best with your struggles.
Wouldn’t glyphosate end up in all commercial farming? And wouldn’t factory farmed meat which is fed grains grown commercially end up with a higher concentration of glyphosate in that case (like fish higher up on the food chain having more mercury and other contaminants)? I think in both veggie and meat options you have to go for organic to avoid glyphosate, and processed products like pea protein chips are going to be risky even if labeled organic.
@@JAK-oi2wu 298, not a single agency or pesticide regulator in the world rates glyphosate a carcinogen or anything else at the tiny real world levels we are exposed to. A few months ago the ECHA at the request of the European Commission found that glyphosate does not cause cancer at levels we are exposed to. It is a travesty that a safe product is under constant attack. Regards.
i would say glyphosphate isnt any more carcinogenic then other pesticides its just that it is used a lot more that is the main "red flag" that people notice in food
Has Joe ever considered the fact that grass fed cows may very well be ingesting large amount of glyphosate from the grass and weeds they’re eating which would bioaccumulate in their system and be even worse than pea protein? It’s just funny him saying all that and then suggesting grass fed beef without once considering maybe it would also contain roundup. Strange thing to overlook lmao
Has Jerry Rocket considered the fact that if "grass and weeds" were sprayed with glyphosate they would die. And Jerry doesn't know that glyphosate does not bioaccumulate.
ok but like . . . the animals are also eating plants grown with glyphosate. So if you go on a carnivore diet, you will just get exponentially more glyphosate in your system. Also, I worked in agriculture and landscaping for many years, and used glyphosate all the time without any safety equipment. And I'm totally fine. Not gay at all!
Steven Osborne Food Grown with glyphosate? It’s designed to kill plants so I dunno how you think food is grown with it unless you mean sprayed around foods in which case just eat organic products that aren’t treated with chemicals
@@travismartin9414 cows eat the same corn that humans eat. In fact it's lower quality corn, so probably even more glyphosate tbh. And they eat a shit load of it. Pigs and chickens too. If its carcinogenic, then it's likely to be cumulative. If it's cumulative, then it's likely to pile up in animals that eat a lot of it. So eating a steak is like p protein whatever time 1000, glyphosate wise
@Steven Osborne Glyphosate breaks down which means it isn’t cumulative as you stated. That’s only with heavy metals in the case of large fish. Please next time just google search instead of stating things like fact and drawing strong conclusions from it.

I agree! I worked for a herbicide company for a few years and glyphosate was one of the lesser harmful chemicals that we used. I never understood the backlash against chris pratt. I raise animals for meat because im ethical. My animals are well taken care of. On pasture with other animals. The only grain they get are whole oats. My animals are loved, just because we plan on eating it, doesnt mean we arent going to give love and affection while they are on this earth. Now look at the animals raised by industrialized ag. They are fed corn and soy, corn is high in sugar and causes founder in hooved animals and other inflamation in the feet, legs, and the gut. This causes extream pain and lameness. They are in feed lots standing in two feet of their own shit. No one cares about them, they are just a number. Chickens in grow out barns can lay on the ground for days with broken legs before anyone notices. At slaughter time, they are run over saw blades. The ones who miss the saw blades in the production line, get boiled to death. On my farm, my chickens are held and talked to, and pet before quickly having their necks broken. No one enjoys it, but at least i know they dont feel a thing and they are killed as quickly as possible. But sure, im the evil one. More people should raise animals so they have a better understanding of where their food comes from
makes me laugh.. I gotta hunt certified organic veggie farms and shoot animals that eat your veggies... perhaps you should grow all your own food then you might understand everything is in competition with you.
