I pray to God constantly to allow me to love Him more. I read the Bible daily, but I don't like reading it. I hate certain aspects of God and ask Him to remove them, but I still struggle with them, specifically the concept of hell and the justice of election. The "election" thing I think just means that God chose/elected humanity, the WHOLE human race to be saved through Jesus. In order to enjoy the benefits of election and chosen we simply have the make the choice to choose him back, and how we choose him back is to have faith in the fact that Jesus died for us. But all of humanity is chosen to be saved we just have to accept Christ's salvation of us. But humans are all chosen by God, we just have to believe in Christ to enjoy that relationship with God.
I think I might understand your thoughts Chad...1 John 3:20- I think my perception of the Lord's love has been skewed by my own experiences of human disapproval and my own deceitful heart! We all mess up and I'm daily fighting these deeply rooted lies to believe that He ALWAYS looks at us with great affection because of Christ. Praying we stay focused more on the righteousness Christ and the value he places on us rather than our shortcomings. Just yesterday I needed to behold the gospel afresh-it's all about believing in the One who was sent and responding to the unconditional love he has shown. 1 Peter 2:5 I am grateful you posed this question- i think for me anyway that I have identified the need to fight false shame about my existence. We were bought with a great price- those He saves are Hiis delight!
How can I know He’s forgiven me? I was hype about Him and things started messing up and my faith snapped n I had a brief period of unbelief. But I would still call the name of Jesus when I felt my lowest. I didn’t know what to believe. And it’s been very different since then.
I struggle with that too but here's the proof God forgives us. And also just a couple scriptures in General because i don't like reading the Bible too sometimes because it overwhelms and sometimes confuses me and gives me anxiety sometimes. but i looked up some scriptures that help me as for forgiveness & other scriptures that help maybe they will help you too as for forgiveness it says in 1 John 1:9 "But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins" Then this one "God treats everyone alike. He accepts people only because they have faith in Jesus Christ. All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins. God sent Christ to be our sacrifice. Christ offered his life's blood, so by faith in him we could come to God. And God did this to show that in the past he was right to be patient and forgive sinners. This also shows that God is right when he accepts people who have faith in Jesus." - Romans 3:22-26 CEV I also like that one too because also remember God has no favorites so there's no special elect group. Jesus died for ALL of us, it's the human race as a whole that is elect. We just have to choose God back, love God back since he loved us first by trying to live lives filled with love for God, ourselves and each other and strong faith in God. " He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins-and not only our sins but the sins of all the world." 1 John 2:2 "The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Also, this isn't petty, people nowadays try to conform the language to suit the times so much so that they go against the very Word of God. Dear brothers and sisters i greet you in our Lord Jesus Christ Five years ago, I began to engage in faith. I started here in Croatia in the catholic church to visit mass and to read The Holy Scriptures. Very early on, I noticed that what is taught and practiced in the catholic church contradicts the Holy Scriptures and what Jesus taught us. In addition, some things in the Holy Bible were unclear to me and raised additional questions and doubts, such as: - If our God is the God of love and justice, why are we punished for the sins of Adam? Doesn't that contradict the principles of love and justice? An earthly father who is full of faults and weaknesses would not do such a thing, then how can we think such a thing about our Perfect Father? - How can a loving father throw his child forever in the hell? That also contradicts these principles. And besides, in 1 Timothy 2; 3 + 4: "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." So, if this were really so, that in spite of His will, people will be brought forever to hell and not saved, this would mean that He can not enforce His will and thus He is not the omnipotent God, if we follow these doctrines believe. - Why does it say in some passages that Jesus is the Son of God, in others the Son of Man and in others that He and God are one? Although I kept going to the Catholic Mass, at home I no longer practiced the prayers of the catholic church, but started talking like a child to my Father (Matthew 6: 7 + 8 ). After a short while, I got the answer to everything. He guided me through a friend of my mother to the revelations of Bertha Dudde. Now I know that the Bible does not contradict itself. God can not contradict himself. The truth is not in the word, in the letter, but in the understanding, in the interpretation of it. Hi, I can't answer most of your questions because I don't have the answers to those questions. However, I believe I can answer the first two. At least, I'm going to try. 1. All humanity descends from Adam and Eve, the first two humans ever created by God. Because we descend from Adam and Eve, that makes them our ancestors. Therefore, because they sinned, we've sinned. In other words, we have inherited their sin and have all been infected by it. 2. God _never_ sends his children to hell. There is no biblical basis for such a belief as that. God sends children of _Satan_ to hell. In other words, unbelievers and haters of God. _That's_ who God sends to hell; not Christians, but non-Christians. Be well, stay safe, and God bless you.
One more thing I forgot to mention, and this answer covers both questions one and two. You're right when you say that God is a God of love and justice because it's true. God is perfect in his love for all people, but he will not force his love on anybody. And so if a person chooses to reject God and his free gift of eternal life in favor of their sins, then God is also perfectly just in sending and punishing that person in hell because of their sins against him, the same way an earthly judge is just in punishing criminals by sending them to prison or, in some cases, to death row, because of their crimes against society. Why under the error of Calvinism would God regret having made men on the earth. As under Calvinism, before the foundation of the world, God determined to create 2 classes of people both classes created for His own glory. a) The elect that he determined to create to display the glory of His mercy and b) The reprobate that he determined to create to display the glory of His Justice. The one class created for bliss the other created for torment. If God were to regret making men on the earth it would mean that he regretted His own purposes. This is the same sort of contradiction of Calvinism found throughout the pages of scripture.

Regret, sorry, repented... thats three different english translations using a different approach in interpretation of the original word, "nacham" (enunciated as naw-kham'). Anytime we read the Bible where multiple english translations use different english (with a large difference of meaning as we understand it today), that probably means their is some debate among scholars as to how to properly translate a specific word or phrase. NASB 6 So the Lord was sorry that He had made mankind on the earth, and He was grieved [a]in His heart. NRSV 6 And the Lord was sorry that he had made humankind on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. AMP Genesis 6:6 [6]And the Lord regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved at heart. KJV And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Strongs dictionary 5162 nacham naw-kham' a primitive root; properly, to sigh, i.e. breathe strongly; by implication, to be sorry, i.e. (in a favorable sense) to pity, console or (reflexively) rue; or (unfavorably) to avenge (oneself):--comfort (self), ease (one's self), repent(-er,-ing, self).

Genesis 1:31 It would be logical for you and i to see how he might feel pain about wiping out what He saw as good not that long before, but not regret as we use it in 2020. We must remember, He is God, not like a man. God's emotions are only truly understood by, well, God. The mystery of nacham should be preserved. However, that doesnt mean we have to stop here to gain further understanding :). We can extrapolate some meaning of nacham by comparing to other texts where this word is in the Tanakh. For example, nacham is found in the book of Genesis 6 times (including yhe next verse, 6:7), in the Old Testament 100 times. So, we can compare the translation of this term in Gen. 6:6 to other verses with this word to gain a better understanding of its actual usage. For example: Genesis 50:21 KJV Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted [nacham] them, and spake kindly unto them. I’m sure He does cause so many end up in Hell. He did flood the earth once so... yah... Why does no one talk about people being predestined to Hell? I can’t look at God as loving and Just.
I struggle with this sometimes too. sometimes I think that God would have been more loving to not have made us in the first place. but I think it’s important to look at us in another perspective as well. if he knew that people would sin he also knew that he’d have to suffer an agonizing death to save us as well. and it says in the Bible that hell was made for the devil and his angels we weren’t meant to go there, but sin entered the world and separated us from him. God is not into kidnapping he won’t force us to be with him is we don’t want to. and besides he’s the reason we have a way out so it kinda makes sense that we can go to hell. but also think about it like this: if he wasn’t loving and just would he not just ignore all of us and let us perish? if he didn’t love us why would he offer a way out? I know it can be hard struggling with questions like this believe me I still do but try to do more research on what the Bible says about hell and why we can go. love you friend !
