Does GREEN MAX work in 3 DAYS?

So does Scotts Green Max really work in 3 days or is it a bunch of crap. Well, it does. It doesn't help that I have a fungal issue in my yard so there is a brown hue over it but you can see there is a definite darker color to it. I always have milorganite on stand by and wanted to throw some down so I did with this application of green max. I also throw down some Root Hume by simple lawn solutions in the video. It is a great product and I spoon feed it to my lawn all season. Everyone uses RGS by that other company but I prefer SLS. Here is a break down of the video which I think I will be doing more often. Sorry if the quality of the video is not as good. The program that I usually use from my phone is not compatible with my phone anymore so I used a free program. This channel is for beginners and new homeowners. I am learning as I go and can only tell you what I've done to achieve my green lawn. If you are a pro then this is not the place for ya. You already know this stuff.

I've been using that MAX for a few years on my St Aug and it's always worked great. One of the best "green up" products I've used. Good video sir. Hope you can hit that 1000 Subscriber real soon.

We are pushing it to the limit at the dominator household. I'm thinking I might do a baby trench. I was just telling Jordan about it. Have it lead to another sump pump. Make it look nice with pea gravel.

I find them to be more effective than your other leading brands of medicine for the lawn. Great results with the root hume, green booster, and lawn food. Question for ya, when you put Down on the lawn, is that bad to go over with the reel mower

I sold the jet skis and tri-toon when I had the house for sale before my daughter came. It was for sale for a year and I lived at my fiancé house. Then we decided to have a kid and moved back in😒 so I got rid of everything for nothing. The father in-law has a 34 for power quest coming next week and I'm picking up a little bow rider in 2-3 weeks

at what point of the 4 step Scott program does the green max plan you demonstrated get applied?

@smedina123s green max is a separate fertilizer that is not in the scotts 4 step plan. Step 3 is basically the same. It has food and iron in it. In this video i had not used the 4 step program yet. I just wanted a green up in the lawn and combined the two granular for a slow release of food and iron

Can I apply the scott’s green max with ironite at the same time?

Yes you can. The green max alone will make your lawn super green in 3 days. Ironite is a crazyvamount of iron. So you will be putting a lot of nitrogen and iron. It will get crazy dark! If it is to much the grass can actually turn black. But that will grow out. It will be an expensive application but you will see big results!

Hi Clint, so do you think is was the Scott's Max or the milo that greened up with the root hume. Dont know which one gave the green up.

The green max for sure. 27% nitrogen with 10% sulfur and 5% iron. Those 3 are super green up materials. Where as Milorganite has a slow release of 2.5% iron in it with only 6% nitrogen. I use milorganite to try to hold the color longer in the lawn. Instead of making all kinds of liquid cocktails and weighing stuff out, milo I can just dump a half bag and be done!

I had a little rain on it but I also watered it in on day 2. I always go heavy on the water with anything high in nitrogen just in case of burning!

I put them down separately but you can put it at the same time if you mix it good. I put simple lawn solutions root hume on after. Thank you for the kind words. I am actually at a new location now, still on the water though!

Most lawn care nuts hate Scott’s but this one seems like a nice to have. Would you apply it this late in the hot ass summer?

You could buy I would make sure to water it in heavy. It's high in nitrogen and most don't want to push growth during that time. But if you're looking for a green up it should be ok. There is also ironite. That stuff is a 1-0-1 i believe. Green Up with no growth. But expensive.

I'm trying Sir Jordan. I'm trying. I came up with an idea to fight it. I was thinking about digging around 3ft away from the dock and putting in a small trench with a catch basin and sump pump. Then covering it with pea gravel. What do you think?

I watered deep after application then just your normal 1-1.5 inches a week. After you water it in it starts doing its thing

I use something similar to green max but it is packaged at my local Co op that supplies to farmers at a discount. Same analysis but only 28 bucks opposed to 60-70. This combo though is rich in iron and nitrogen and will make your lawn look beautiful for sure

You live next to a waterway and you are using a product high in phosphorus like Milo. Have you done a soil test? Bet just like the majority of America you do not have a phosphorus deficit. I’m sure you are aware of what phosphorus runoff does to waterways. Don’t care if Milo is organic or not. Phosphorus is phosphorus. Check your phosphorus levels and please act accordingly

I don't live there anymore but yes I always do a soil test and was able to put it down. NPK was was all low micros were high. Ph level was just above 7 when this video was made.
