Unfortunately, this isn't always the case; the best scientific observations obtainable were carried out with a double-walled aluminum bat. The cause for an increase in distance with a double-walled alloy bat is a result of the thin layer of foam bat corporations installed inside the double barrels. This foam will be damaged when using a bat rolling machine and yield distance and mph gains. Today's alloy bats are single-wall, and a few have restrictor tubes with the bat's center. Bat rolling, heated bat rolling, or a natural break-in does not assist those single-wall bats as some bat rollers would have you believe.
