Not only did Mayweather pop back like 10 feet whenever Manny was on the attack, looking like he was running, but he also clinched a ton. Floyd did what he needed to do to win. He was cheap.
If someone says the Floyd clearly won the fight, I’d have to say, they didn’t watch the same fight I watched. Sure, neither one hurt the other guy with punches, but absolutely Manny Pacquiao ywas the aggressor and through more punches - Pacquiao should have won. Fights should always be given to the most aggressive, if you you’re a judge.
Manny doesn't have trouble against people who punches a lot he has issues with people who counter punch (Marquez, Morales)...Tyson's statistics are off.

And that was Juan Marquez who he fought for the 4th time. Marquez's success vs Manny was attributed to gradual progression due to constant accessibility to Manny's unique style. Marquez and Mayweather have different style of counterpunching. Marquez is an aggressive INSIDE counter puncher with power while Floyd is a passive OUTSIDE counter puncher with limited power and inside game. Marquez's style gives Pac trouble. Floyd's style gives Pac less problem. Pac's style is the toughest challenge Floyd will ever face. Pac won't gas out like Judah. Pac is faster than Castillo. Pac is more accurate and throw more combination than Maidana.
Deontray Walker If you watch those fights again, both Morales, & Marquez, actually throw a lot of punches. That's why their fights were so close. Also, Morales was a boxer that counter punched, and went on the offensive. He wouldn't of had so many wars with Barrera, if he was just a pure counter puncher. Also, Pacquiao has trouble with Morales in their 1st fight. After that, he had figured out Morales. TMT actually mimicked 1 of the circumstances of Manny's 1st fight vs. Morales. There's a post fight interview with Manny in the Philippines, where he talks about not being able to wear preferred gloves. He was also required to take an extra blood test close to fight night, because his blood samples were misplaced, & couldn't be found. This is wear he admits to feeling weak after blood tests. So when TMT found out about this, I'm almost sure that this is where they came up with the idea to implement Olympic style blood testing. When the fight was called off, Floyd had to make it appear that he was sincerely trying to clean up the sport.
Bart Gatsby That was a whole lot of useless writing. Not trying to be rude because it was a well articulated and thought out response but nothing even remotely close to that transpired. Manny barely even showed up to the fight and all his fans are crying foul about Floyd and his defensive style even though he's been fighting the same way now for almost a decade. How come no one faults Manny? He looked awful except for maybe a couple of rounds. Or Floyd is just that superior of a "boxer".
Pacquiao definitely will be Mayweather's biggest boxing challenge. If he beats Pacquiao decisively there will be no question...there can never ever be any question of how great Mayweather was and is. ...But...that is if he beats Pacquiao...and that is a big IF....a really big IF on May 2nd!

Manny pacquiao aint a brawler he's a puncher with excellent footwork creating angles and having power in both hands. Styles makes fights, that's what tyson assessment was all about.

I see this a tough fight for Pacquiao... Not Mayweather. Mainly because Mayweather is used to fighting aggressive styles, also Mayweather has amazing counter abilities and Pacquiao can't afford to make mistakes in this fight or else he's going to be punished.
