Nicely done and good explanation of what each blade does.

I understood that I should stick to 48 teeth one for less efforts in planing the cuts. Infact I can directly polish the wood and save time! Thanks for sharing

I would have like to see how these perform in plywood, since it is more prone to splintering

Great video.. We can turn our old blades into wind chimes!!! It's not just tooth count, but hook and tooth design as well. From my seat it appears the 12T and 36T blade variations gave the same result; both being different designs I presume. The 48T precision blade cut absolutely amazing. I wonder how slow it is with ripping. So it probably has to do with tooth count, hook angle and degree angles of carbides that contribute to the quality of the cut.

@John Uy Arts Sadly that you didn't make also a along side cut and compare them too. Because the blades with low teeth number are for speed cutting not for cross but for lengthwise and that would be interesting also to see the differences.

Generally rip cuts are of no issue with any blades , its with crosscuts that specific blades matters , and its with crosscuts that tear outs generally occur , plywood aside since plywood has orthogonal layers

@@JohnUyArts Well, I have made different experiance. The quality of rip cuts can surley differ. Some rip cuts become so clean and smooth that you don't need to us a planer after cutting and other blades make thinny stripes and you have to rework them with a planer. If you know what I mean.

@@leonlionheart5927 then i believe there is a problem with your power saw calibration or setup , or maybe how you use them :)

@@JohnUyArts your conversation with Leon makes it the more interesting to see rip cut demos comparing the different blades. Great video for the cross cut demo. Thanks and hope you keep it up. Subscribed to your channel, liked the video too!
