The Ruin DLC for Security Breach is finally out! How does it stack up compared to the base game? I guess that's subjective, but I'm here to share my thoughts on it.

This guy is the only creator I’ve seen that is super small with such natural sounding content. It’s like you don’t even try but it still sounds, looks and feels good. I think you’ll explode soon as long as you keep up this quality. Needless to say this video is also really good

9:08 the rabbit spawns Monty if you keep the mask on for too long and if it's way to long ambience starts playing along with your screen starting to turn red and monty just instantly killing you so its not a bug

That's fair. The way the game talks about it at the start made me think I'd see him spawn or something before hand, so I still think it's a kinda rough way to implement it

My main issue with the ruin is when an animatronic seems like it’s about to chase you but then it just gets stopped by some random falling debris. I mentioned this in chat and I felt like this video was a good time to reiterate it

I agree with you mostly. I personally find Ruin much better but probably because I very much prefer linear games over open world ones.The thing is, I really reckon Security Breach shouldn't exist at all; it just complicates and adds nothing meaningful to an already convoluted lore. Ruin is a welcome addition of course, a free DLC of this reach is always really nice to get, but the main game is the problem imo. Really hope Help Wanted 2 will be good, but I'm certain it shall be considering how wonderful HW 1 has been, and that after that future games will return to a more FNaF like structure, where you just sit still and prevent animatronics from reaching you.

100% agree with pretty much all of your points - rabbit bitch is scary once or twice and then annoying for the rest of the game and the SPECIFIC thing where there should've been a monty chase before the daycare section is so true i was going "when is he gonna chase me" the whole time and then he just didnt lmao anyway great video as always :D

IIRC I just brought Freddy down to the kitchen area. We were running around breaking plates to get an achievement so we were down there for a while. I'm not sure exactly what caused her to be so unstoppable, but the only way we ended up surviving was by jumping out in a corner where she couldn't reach us, at which point she suddenly lost agro. Not quite the same as Giga Monty, but very similar at least :)

@@TooLittleTooNate holy crap, thanks for replying! That's interesting though. I don't exactly remember if you're even supposed to have Freddy in the kitchen (she wasn't shattered, so I assume you were doing the decommission Chica mission), so maybe the game freaked out about Freddy being somewhere he isn't supposed to, so maybe Chica was acting as a weird punishment failsafe. Anyways, keep up the fantastic work my guy! You make great content, and I wish I found out about you sooner!

Perhaps! There is a charging station nearby, but I've had a lot of weird behaviour from Freddy in that area. I'm wondering if it's just not super common to bring him down there

@@TooLittleTooNate maybe that Charging Station is for later in the game, when the whole map opens up at 6:00 AM. If I was a Dev, I would want to up the tension while you're running around the kitchen to activate the garbage disposal, so I'd put some way to prevent Freddy from coming in during that mission, but open it up for collectable hunting later. Then again, it's Security Breach, so either that Freddy Blocker is bugged, or it just doesn't exist and Freddy's just a little quirky in the kitchen. At least he doesn't go Quantum lol
