"Something seems to be lurking in the forests...." Yes...seeing it once is one thing. Going back after it clearly went aggressive the second it saw the group and engaged, is another. Now it's been shot in the face, and by all accounts, didn't go down permanently. Tell me - going back a third time is going to prove what? Each IQ in that group runs at about room temperature? It's well known in general that canines can remember someone's scent. A dogman is not your Doberman, nor a poodle. It's not a joke. It's already been aggressive, now it's been wounded, and it WILL know that scent the minute they enter that area and the wind runs through the trees. Do you truly think it's going to just walk out into a clearing next time? You injured it when it directly engaged the second time. It's not stupid. It's now going to hunt. You're not even going to know what hit you.
