7:36 I think this is the weapon "handling" stat taking place. If you increase this attribute via upgrade, it will become faster. In the game config menu there is an option which I didnt test it yet but it may have somenthing to do with it, its called "weapon inertia", maybe if you turn it off.......
I'm doing well managing my expectations for Stalker 2. Still waiting for an unscripted gameplay reveal. Until then, I expect it to launch in a beta state and that patching is gonna take until fall this year. All the best to GSC, I'm just being realistic.
Great video, Qloud. Hope you get more subs this year. I am really curious to see how many people are going to be caught off guard by how much S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is not like Anomaly, and how those people feel about that.
13:54 And there it is. Something that is making a lot of people complain about this game. Cut scenes ending with you surrounded by enemies with little to no room to escape. I died several times just in this case. And there are several other cut scenes like that one through the game.
I had to sit through the opening cutscene half a dozen times before I figured out why my game saves weren’t saving. I came this close to uninstalling the thing. There are some other super-long ones in there. The one near the end of the X18 mission, for example.
Another advice, the speed movement on differnet weapons is a weapon by weapon (I dunno how it's called in English, the circle with arrows on weapons) you can turn it off in options
I've been playing this game for a dozen hours or so and my opinions about it are quite conflicting. While on one hand I'm finding an awesome game, mostly because the developers really nailed the feeling, the atmosfere and the experience of the original games, on the other hand, they didn't get rid of some of the things that I didn't like in the original games, and here I'm talking basically about the feeling of the gunplay. The way guns behaves in this game (and in the original trilogy) is quite weird, the feeling they give make them looks like toys instead of guns, and once you play GAMMA at least a bit, it becomes even more noticeable how weird the vanilla gunplay in this series is. It's clear that this behavior came from the intention of the original developers to give a RPG feeling to the game, where you get better guns with better stats as you progress in the game, but the way they used to make this was super weird. The job did by GAMMA devs in this aspect was soooo much better, making the guns more realistic while also keeping the feeling of progression. In GAMMA, the guns feels more deadly, they feel like they have weight, they are more precise, the bullets give more feeling of impact when hiting a target and so on. And this is a good thing, a thing that I wished was incorporated in this game, even at the cost of deviating from the original stalker experience.
i think you can't have it both at once, not in this game with this engine and the way A-Life works. I love Anomaly (i don't like gamma but i used BaS) but trying to balance it for longer sessions was pretty hard, and overall it's a tough job to keep stalker consistent in RPG fasion. I aplaud the creators of True Stalker for trying to achive that, and i enjoy more oldschool combat and it's rules - if i want semi tactical shooter with survival elements i pick Anomaly though.
I been playing this as well I like it as well True Stalker is great, also like to see some one mod the sleep timer clock thingy into stalker anomaly I do find that easy to use more so over the one in stalker anomaly
I see conflicting info on whether you get irradiated by the artifacts while doing the fetch quest for Sid. One RU-vidr said they don’t unless you equip them, but I sure as hell died to it a few times. I finally got them all after stocking up on vodka and energy drinks so I could run nonstop. Even then, I still barely survived.
i mean, my general assumption is, if it's something that has a +Red symbol on it, if it's not in a lead box, it's gonna give you radiation poisoning. sure, this doesn't have the crunchy stats of GAMMA, but, the description still says it emits radiation. good enough reason for me to be quick about getting it out of my backpack
Love your stalker content. I'll have to skip these vids cus you made me wanna check this mod out. Story seems legit. I'm liking it so far. I will come back and watch your series here when I beat it. Hoping to see some more UNISG aswell. I'll keep my eye out for those. I dont comment much but I've been subbed a while and always enjoy your vids. Thanks!
I know you've said that you wanted to get into the artifact system in GAMMA. How about making it an Egologist run? Love your content. Keep up the good work.
This is kinda cool. I sometimes feel aimless in Anomaly so having a more linear story focus sounds interesting to me. I like the different look too. I wouldn't have the audacity to call it "True Stalker" but it's a cool spin-off for sure. Then again, Clear Sky was absolutely a more linear game so maybe it is closer to being "True" than Anomaly is lol
I finished the mod but didnt figured out the usage of the transciever. And i didnt finished the dreams quest is it possible to go to Zaton,Dead City or the Power Plant? A-Life was sadly missed but the mod was fun anyway. Hope Stalker 2 will have a nice A-Live 2.0 even after the lead designer sadly was k.i.a :(
I would like to do a question to all stalker lovers, I want to play anomaly with the graphic and weapons like EFT I tried gamma but its way complicated for my taste what can I install? Thank you everyone!
This is a weird error. My game won't start at all, even though I disabled my virus protector. tried multiple times, playing sound in the background, but nothing works. just keeps saying openal can't create Even got the game updated
This mod is fine but its not really OG stalker as it says in the title. Also the plot is repetitive and the ending is ass but its a nice mod overall, 7/10.
My advice do the side tasks they will give rewards that will help you progress I the game save you some money and reward you with items you could not necessarily find quickly in the early stages of the game
It's interesting that sweeper jumped you. I shot him in the head after our chat, and I didn't get jumped. It's very cool to see the opportunities the mod has.
Something I didn't realize until I was pretty deep into chapter 2: you have binoculars. They're like the headlamp, in that it isn't an item in your inventory, and there isn't a dedicated slot they need to be equipped in; you just have them.
But if you press the obvious B key for binoculars, you get… your knife. I don’t get why the binoculars are part of the weapon key set, but not the knife.
ima be honest, i have zero interest in true stalker or content abt it. it looks so fucking boring and mid compared to anything anomaly- gamma or otherwise- has to offer. id rather just play the originals than anything close to this boring piece of junk
i have not played gamma, just the og trilogy and some other mods, but i really disliked TS as well. there's too much backtracking involved which just killed the experience for me. glad to see someone else that didn't like it because everyone is loving it hahah
Another great video Qloud keep the content coming I need more of a fix man can you hook me up with a couple of more videos I’ll pay ya the rest next week hahaha
2 things you may want to change in console, to make your life easier: g_streamer_mode 1 g_ammo_unload_after_pickup 1 The first one will limit music to properly licensed things, such as songs from the trilogy; While the second will automatically unload guns as you pick them up, as one less thing to think about while you're talking.
At least you're finally playing some more stlaker storyline content, I left your discord after you never went back to finish original series. If this keeps up might rejoin
It's a great build, the only thing I don't like about it is being linear and lacks the actual freedom stalker games provide. Still, I loved playing it, gave me a great experience and made me understand that a new approach to playing stalker is not bad.
the choices you make do make a difference, i cleared the vehicle yard and killed the bandit at the tunnel before doing the electro tunnel mission and no bandits showed up for me.
First and foremost great stream as usual qloud, love it.personally I prefer stalker gamma ,but keep on keeping on regardless brother, so long as you're steering our ship.... 😊😊❤🎉
I also couldnt download it using any of the direct links provided. I also couldnt use the magnet torrent link. The only option that worked for me was using the link to download the torrent file which was exclusive to forum members (well, at least the forum was free to register).
Do you know that the developers of this mod are from Russia? None of them condemned and simply remained silent about the terrible crimes committed by their country against the Ukrainian people.
they probably still live in russia, and saying anti-government things there isn't safe; there was a man who during a youtube street interview said some anti-war stuff and was later sentenced to jail for 10(maybe 15 I'm not sure) years for "spreading western propaganda"
russian people are not the russian government, friend. they're just people. the people who made this mod more than likely have NOTHING to do with what's happening in ukraine and condemning people for being russian when they did nothing wrong is NOT cool. i understand your point of view, and offer an alternative.
@@donbehatin Honestly, f*ck his point of view. If we were to have all ordinary people apologize and condemn the actions of their government we'd have to listen to f*cking americans apologizing for the next 52 years.
