Don introduced George on stage to begin the encore w/ "Kiss Of Death 💋☠" from the Back For The Attack album. Camera's & phones were lifted & faces were melted by the blistering licks that commenced! Pure 🔥🔥🔥
Take notes kids, this is what it looks like to still be a badass at an advanced age. George has so many unique fills and leads, it never ceases to amaze. One of the last Legends of rock
@@timothya2742 Yeo an old 'rocker' playing the same old riffs . Justin Bieber wouldn't t even know or hire an old fossil playing rehashed Jimi Hendrix 60's pentatonics with two distortion pedals . It is embarassing having to watch an old grey haired man have to play teen music at his age ,to pay the bills .
Well….maybe lynch but don’t can’t sing anymore. He needs to hire a vocal coach to help him just sing an octave down but make it more dynamic and melodic. Quit trying when it’s not working.
These two original dudes just never gets old and reminds me I'm getting older than dirt (55). My favorite hair band in the 80s (HS early 80s, college late 80s/early 90s). Love this sh*t. Thanks for sharing, Ken.
Ahh... can relate. Will be 54 early August. How about a little twitch of the neck and it ends up being whacked out for almost a week? Or, if you get pulled over by a 14 year old police officer?
George murdered his high E string very quickly. Yet he still crushed it like it was nothing. The guitar tech was in the corner just waiting to give him the other guitar. But George is so busy that there is no time to swap out. So he makes the most of it. That is a guitar God.
This is freaking awesome! Long live Dokken and Lynch!!! If my eyes don't deceive me, George breaks his high E string and keeps going! Now THAT my brothers and sisters is a PRO!
I can't count how many times I've seen Dokken. They opened for every band on tour and then came back around as the headliner. Dokken and the scorpions, Dokken with Judas Priest... Dokken with everybody. Killer band.
My favorite band and guitarist in the 80s. George still killed it but it was truly sad for me to see Don unable to belt it out like he used to. Part of getting older I guess. Much respect to him still though.
Without question one of the GREATEST bands to come out of that era of music. Saw them live once opening for Bon Jokey and by the end of the night the true KING'S who walked away from that show are in this video ! Dokken forever !
Dokken were true musicians putting out actually good music, in the day I didn't even think of them as a glam band even tho they went through that "phase" shame ego tore them up when they were at their best.
Don had the voice of Angels. George was held back in verse to make way for that voice, but was able to shine in solos. Hard to find a balance amongst Ego's in the long run
I graduated HS in '85... Magic Mountain All Nite Party Dokken and others.. can't remember..pretty wasted...George just always shreddin'...saw him with G3...Satriani and Kenny Wayne and others...Big 80's Dawg😎
Honestly knew from the opening riff, but I thought just an intro, and sang different song. Don didn’t sing great anymore, tone down a lot, hence only the reff which was noticeable
Yes I did notice. I was just staring at the screen stunned although it sounded pretty good so... There's a great new version of When Heaven Comes Down, recorded at Vamp'd with George Lynch's Electric Freedom.
Fuckin Dokken still my favorite band since I was a teenager I remember passing by the bars and they be playing Dokken I wanted to go so bad but I wasn't Old enough they Rock I have seen them many times 👍🎸🎶🎼😍
I only got to see Dokken on their Dysfunctional Tour, but it was cool...cause Oni Logan was in the crowd & I met the entire band after the show that night. I've been fortunate to have seen Lynch Mob in it's many different stages along the way. Thanks for checking out my video & glad you enjoyed it. 🤘🏼
@@kenservais5700 did he sound better in concert than in the video? I went to see guns n roses and axl sounded light years better at the concert than in the videos recorded
@@masterdingus7074 yeah...I don't think you can fully capture the energy from a Live performance. Being "there in the moment "... is tough to top. I appreciate you checking out my videos. 🤘🏼
Last time I saw Dokken live, was 1995. Dysfunction tour....I hope to get one more chance if they are out again. I couldn't hear for 2 days, and I felt great about it!
That was my 1st Dokken Concert. 1995 Dysfunction Tour...it was so awesome to be there. Met all the dudes afterwards...took pics & autographed the tour book for me. Excellent time & great memories to look back on. 🤘🏼 Thanks for taking a moment to check out my video. 🤘🏼
I think Don is awesome 🤘 but I've played guitar for 30 something years. I'm a George fan big time. But none of that matters..it's a sound of the two. Y'all are a wave that washes us under. But we still have our memories of that...miss ya brothers!❤️🤘😎
I used to stay up and listen to Metal Shop. It would come up at midnight. When these guys broke up Dons solo album was released and I heard it for the first time . It was fantastic!!! I'm so glad to see them together!!!
Still F'N Rocking after all this time! You can't fake or lip synch your way into this kind of talent. George Lynch was burning the guitar up. Looks Like Geralt of Rivia.. LOL
grandes Dokken por siempre..... amo a esta banda desde los años 80 hasta ahora y por siempre.....no tenían que haberse separado nunca!!!! George & Don Forever!!!!!!
They play and sound pretty good for deaf people!!!! Don and George!!!!🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂💋😂💋🤣😂!!!! PS: "Damn!!!! George broke a string!!!! He still played on !!!!😄😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍👍
Good to see these two guys buried the hatchet and left all of the bad blood behind. As Don said in an interview; "we're too old for that kind of thing". And they really do look like they're enjoying themselves, instead of just faking it.
Still kicking ass saw em when they first came out and right away covered that song f DBL bass shreds man.his voice was one that gave us fits ya know that hard to get midrange n soft singing voice when we were playing Pantera or Judi's priest or iron maiden man.killer band lynch kick
Absolutely! Pre-covid... I'd usually get to say a few words w/ him after the shows which is always awesome. Watching him play just a few feet away is incredible! Glad you enjoyed my footage from that awesome night at the Whisky! 🤘🏼
Missing Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown... All alive and well... This is an opportunity unlike RATT where ..... Died and ain't the same no more... Come on DOKKEN life is short.. DO IT
Mick is done. Fully Retired, and a body 'beat up'...( his words) from 50 years of playing the way he did. Jeff, could join 'em...but, it'd definitely have to be any number of other great drummers they had. Probably be this Zampa guy here. Micks younger brother Steve Brown...is the new guy in Tesla.
SO SAD, DONS VOICE IS FUCKING SHOT,, GO HOME DON, WE LOVE YOU, .....GEORGE IS BETTER THAN HE HAS EVER BEEN, KEEPS GETTING BETTER, LIKE FINE WINE, THE MAN IS TRULY AMAZING,........HE LOVES PLAYING AND IT SHOWS HOW GREAT HE IS,..................
Lynch is shredding it still on his game as good as he ever was and Dokken is still sounding good. Wish they they were still putting material out and on the air waves. I still request Dokken on the radio.
OMFG!!!!!!.."IT JUST SHOWS THE WHOLE WORLD"!!!..."GEORGE LYNCH IS A MASTER"!! UNBELIEVABLE SOOO BAD ASS IN ALL PROFESSIONAL LEVELS"!! LETS SEE HOW SMART ALL YALL PEOPLE SEE THIS!!!!
@@kenservais5700 Hell Yess!! You rule brother!!! You should send it to serius XM..Hair Nation!..there very nice people there! They would share your video to THE WORLD!!..which is SOOO important about "George LYNCH"!!!
This was one of the best live sound ones on RU-vid from 2022. Thank you. How those other ones got out there behind the stage vids pissess me off. Sound was terrible and made them look really bad. AND yes I am a fan boy from the 80’s that saw them live a lot so F off with the comments. Haaa! Love it!
Man, I'm really kicking myself for not seeing Dokken back in 1997. I figured I'd get another chance, but I don't think they've been here since. Given a chance, man, I don't know if I would now. Don seems to just be coasting up there.
I'll tell ya, I try to catch my favorite bands any chance I can. The shows of 2021-2022 have been phenomenal for me . Tomorrow's not promised to anyone... so I try to take in as much as possible. Thx for checking out my video 🤘🏼🤘🏼
You're 💯% right!!! I try to catch his shows anytime l have the opportunity. He's always been my favorite guitarist & it's always a blast to see him LIVE! Thx for checking out my video! 🤘🏼🎸🤘🏼
Did anyone noticed that George just broke the E1 string? You can see it hanging there. George keeps playing like man possessed, but the guy with another guitar is ready to give it to George in moment notice.
