Congratulations for your great video. I would like to hear your opinion about the sound quality differences between these , Svs ultra towers and Klipsch rp8000 . Thanks a lot for the content.

Thank you. The Arendal speakers would be the clear winner between those 3 choices when it comes to detail and overall sound quality. They also have the ability to go as loud as you want without distorting. Klipsch rp8000 have a bit of a scooped out midrange, so the midrange on the Arendal and SVS are better. The Arendal have an overall better sound quality than the SVS, more detailed sound while remaining close to balanced neutral sound. Bass wise the SVS and Arendal would be close, but I think in the end the Arendal would win given its better articulation. I hope that helps.

They sound flat with the base but highs sound incredible with that dark jazz in autumn song the notes from the sax ring out beautifully like you are there.. I think pair two of these with 2 pol audio r700 too fill in that bass but then why would you do that right just add some subwoofers lol for sure these need too he powdered with a subwoofers id love too hear a demo with subwoofers plugged in on they're own they are very loud and bright and clean sounding the bass will round these off beautifully i think and smooth out the brightness from the highs.. i like speakers that are loud so these definitely are up my alley for sure i like them alot and they are gorgeous especially in white..

Have you ever had a chance to listen to any Polk Legend series speakers for comparison?

I have heard the L800, but only in store, not in my space. So I can't give an apples to apples comparison. Based on memory, I think the L800 had a little more bass and more detail in the midrange. That is based on memory and not in the same space, so take it with a grain of salt.

The 1723s are some very nice speakers. I cant wait to see the IV3 review. if im not mistaken you will be the first one to review the IV3 on RU-vid. these other guys need to catch up because your constantly reviewing end game gear while they are all riding the band wagon and reviewing the same gear that the last guy did a review on.

Thanks man, I appreciate that. I do my best to get in gear that isn't exactly mainstream. I mean, I do have to review some of the mainstream stuff as well, but we need to explore a little and get some unique pieces too. I am quite excited for the IV3, what a beautiful piece, that should have the sound to match its looks.

You still have at300 in the setup, I have it with Arendal speakers aswell. But playing gravity through this processor sounds wrong. Clooney in the first 3 to 5 minutes is not going around me, stays far away in the front. Heard it on another av and sounded amazing. Just wondering if you could test if you have the same? Don't notice it much on other, except it feels "thin" on the rears. (Could be going to the rears) Would really appreciate if you could test ;)

I do still have the AT300. When you are testing the movie Gravity are you using a Blu Ray, DVD or streaming? When you tested it at your friends house was it the same media? Are you sure you have selected the correct sound codec and you are using the correct sound mode on the AT300? I don't have this movie for testing, unless it's available on a streaming service?

@SpecOfTech we streamed it, was on prime and hbo. Both tested same streaming service. Also tried Dolby Upmix and DTS Neutral no difference. If you can try to stream it would be great 👍

I am sorry to say it, but unless you have the very very rare Atmos mixed disk of Gravity there is no way to hear anything but an upmixed nightmare. One exception is the Kaleidescape system download.

With all the speakers you have demoed. What speaker do you feel was the best for a movies only set up? I know this could be difficult and different per person just looking for your opinion.

I think if it was for movies only, I would choose the Arendals with a lower budget, and I would choose Legacy Audio if you have the budget for it. Another one would be JTR, I haven't personally heard their larger speakers, but based on their specs, price and reviews they are a hard speaker to beat at their price.

Are these better then polk audio r700 tower speakers? For the price. Im trying too build a home stero system around 10-13k too start with 7 in ceiling speakers 2 towers and 2 subwoofers but i have no idea what pre amp or amplifier or receiver ill need too power all this effectively..

I personally have not heard the R700, but I have heard the R200. It would depend on what sound you are looking for, but generally speaking I would say the Arendal are the better sounding speaker. They have more detail, and are a little more crisp in the top end. I also believe the Arendal will get louder before breaking up, than the R700's. As far as budget speakers go, I would rank the R700 at the top of the list. That doesn't mean that spending more on these Arendal's won't get you better sound though. @SpecOfTech thanks man your awesome at responding and i like your opinions they really help me save money and get the best equipment too be an audiophile and enjoy listening too high end equipment and enjoy music without breaking the bank and not becoming a audiophile snobs.. I hope you get too review the new klipsch reference 2 line as well as there new 16" subwoofers cause now im like man do i go klipsch ive always been a fan of klipsch but i can see what people mean you get listening fatigue with those easily because they are so loud and bright they can get harsh.. Hopefully the new refinement makes them enjoyable too own for audiophiles again..

Would you say these do anything better than the sonetto speakers you currently have?

They are flatter in their response than the Sonetto speakers. The Sonetto's are deliberately not a neutral speaker, but he Arendal's are very close to neutral. The Arendal's can also go louder while remaining more composed than the Sonetto's. That being said, I do prefer the Sonetto's for music given their sparkly treble and detailed midrange. When it comes to bass the Arendals win hands down though.

Curious, but I Was wondering how do these compare to the Paradigm 100F? I know in terms of beauty the 100F is one of best looking speakers out there. But in terms of how they sound are 100F worth almost $2000 more?

I 100% agree, when it comes to looks the Founder series are on of my favorites of all time. When it comes to sound, they both go in their own direction. If a person prefers a warmer sounding speaker go with the 100F, if you want a more neutral speaker choose the Arendal. Arendal would also get my vote if the setup is HT centric, if you are more music centric and like a warm sound then my vote is on 100F. I hope that helps.

After some digging, I found that Windows 11 has some new device driver signal processing 'features'. Turned them off, it helps, but isn't perfect. Tinnitus is one of them thar complicated issues that science is only beginning to understand. This isn't the forum for a deep dive. Keep up the great work!
