Thank you very much for your nice comments. Please share this video with your friends and groups in your social media so more crafters can make this affordable stamp platform 👏🏻🤗❤️
I just now watched this video, 5/8/23. This is incredible! You are amazing!! Such talent...beautiful card! I will follow you on FaceBook & Instagram. Thank You!
Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how to make our own stamp into and how to do it carefully and thoroughly. Your instructions were perfect and I was able to make mine and I’m using it and I just want to thank you for your clear instructions. Your faith card was beautiful!
Thank you so much for this beautiful process video! Seldom seen one so well-done, start-to-finish, with such clear verbal & visual sequencing of the steps. I already have a Misti but will make one of these for my daughter. You did an amazing job! (Your card is beautiful.)
Thank You! This is the best design yet for making your own stamp positioned. This design would work for making a full size one also. All you would need is the 8” x 10” acrylic frames, a larger sticky cutting mat, a longer dowel and longer pieces of vinyl. So simple and economical. It’s wonderful! Thank you again for sharing your talents with us!
I was thinking one might want to go with a thicker dowel as the hinge to better support the weight of a larger piece of acrylic, but it certainly would work.
This is AMAZING, Cristy! I just LOVE your card!! Did you get your flower stamps and the pink spatula thingy from Dollar Tree as well? What is the name of the stamp package? Also, where did you find this leather vinyl? Thank you SO MUCH! ❤
This is GENIUS!!!! I am very good at recreating expensive things, that get the job done, for a fraction of the price. I have pondered this and though I had an idea of how I would do it, the prices of materials did not make it cost effective enough to bother doing. THIS, is perfection and right up my alley. I even forced my husband to watch it (he doesn't have a crafty bone in his body, lol) and he was amazed and impressed at your ingenuity. He even offered to go immediately to the dollar store to get supplies ... I think he was as excited as I was to see this come together, lol. So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!! It takes a lot to impress me because I always figure it is something I could have/would have done myself. But this is easy, inexpensive and practical. Great job!!!!!!!
I’m so excited that you like it and will make one for yourself 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I just have a tip. If you use the faux leather from Dollar Tree use E6000 instead of hot glue. Happy crafting 💚
It’s so creative! You've really been blessed with a new way at looking at crafting items! The Lord has given you a rare genius! So wonderful! Thank you
Omg I am a 68 years old in a few days I’m a beginner. I can’t believe I made the lil stamp Tool. I do sublimation, lil signs, lil crafts but just started stamps this is one of my first projects. ♥️♥️♥️ Ty Ty , Ty❣️
You can also use a 8x10 picture frame, a note pad and duct tape. Take apart the picture frame. Leave the acrylic front. Duct tape the back piece to the frame on the backside. To create the hinge. Place the paper pad in the frame. This is your platform. Stamp away and enjoy.
How clever you are!!! Buying a Precision Press changed my horror of stamping into a love of it! It’s makes stamping so easy w/ perfect results every time! I can’t imagine being w/out it. Everyone needs one, but they are pricy. Now, w/ your ingenuity, anyone can have a stamp platform-yea!!! Just today I watched another uTuber test out Temu stamps w/out using a platform. She was blaming the ‘quality’ on the stamp when it really was the lack of proper tools. Great job, Christy!!!
You’re a genius!!! This is the first one that actually seems to work & that’s great!!! You definitely have God-given talents. Thank you for sharing your ideas!!
Holy moly yes! I cannot believe you just made a stamp platform!!! Unbelievably amazing! Wow 😃 I am going to have to make one for sure! Thank you for your creative brain and imagination ♡
The car is absolutely beautiful thank you for sharing and never a stamper made , that is so clever, great job I’ll be waiting your DIYs god bless you be safe
Genius!!! I'm so glad I found this. I've been trying to figure out how to make my own because they are so expensive to buy and this just saved the day.
I love your design. Very simple but well made. I will definitely be making one. I found you most delightful and calming. Thank you. Have a blessed day!!🌺
This is amazing! I have been wanting a stamp platform for a few years but could never justify how much it cost! I love this and can’t wait to hit dollar tree tomorrow 😊❤ thank you thank you!
You are so clever and smart, your brain never rest, that's why we can learn so much from you. I think you relax while you make and figure it out 🥰 Thank you for you. Love from Norway 🇳🇴
I've been wanting another smaller misty but what you made would work for me as well.! :) So cool! It would work perfectly for my budget and it's the right size. Your card turned out beautiful. Thank you
I really appreciate low-cost ways to get high-end results. Those ready-made stamping platforms can be too expensive for many crafters and this is a great option. I've seen some pretty amazing cards and albums done with nothing but a ruler, a pair of cheap scissors, and a pencil. No fancy Cricut machine or Crop-o-dile or any of that. Just imagination and a desire to make. Love it, and thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for explaining this easy way to make a stamping platform. Can't wait to make one myself. And your card is just gorgeous Christy. Thank you again. :)
I cannot thank you enough. I have wanted one of these for years and years but didn’t feel I could really afford it. You have made me so happy. I need to go to the store now and get the items needed for this project.
Christy, you are a very good teacher. Your instructions are clear and demonstrations are understandable. Best of all, your idea is genius, too. These stamp positioner tools can be so expensive to purchase so making our own is a wonderful idea. Love the sticky mat for a grid!!! I am a fan!!!
I made this!! It took me a few tries to get it right, since I had to review ruler math 🙂 and my pencil was too big. I got a dowel and tried again and it works wonderfully. Thank you! ♥️
Your are a clever lady and a genius, and I am grateful you are in the world. Thank you for everything you did to make a comprehensive video. Your video was well explained and easy to follow. Your card was beautiful and since you I have a similar lily stamp I am going to make my version of your card. I have a Misti so I won't be making a stamp positioner but I am saving this video because you never no what the future hold for us. Keep well and once again thank you.❤️🇨🇦😀
I was pleasantly surprised at your video. My very first thought was, I had to watch for this stamping platform to arrive in my Dollar Tree and then . . . . what a surprise, you made it. I was totally shocked for it looked like something you would purchase. Your demonstration on producing this so needed little traveler stamp pad was so detailed it would be hard to make a mistake in reproducing this item. And then to see how well it worked was great. Thank you so much for sharing this idea for in today's economy sometimes many of us have to choose between necessities and desires. This affordability stamper can allow for both. Lynn, Dodge City, KS
I’m so glad you liked my video. I know that many of us would love to buy all of the expensive tools too but as you said we have to choose “necessity over desires” and think out of the box to make it fun and affordable 💕
Where has this hack been all my life!! Seriously I have got to make one - I shake a lot so this will be a stamping game changer for me. Thank you so much for sharing it and explaining it so well. And that glue trick - gotta remember that too. Subscribed and shared to my page and group. Grace and peace.
You're such a Genius!! This is so Cool!! I'm definitely gonna see if my $Tree has all this stuff so I can Make 1 for myself. I think having a Smaller one like this will be really handy. Thank You so much for taking the time to do this video .. not only Showing us how to make it; but also taking the time to show us how well it works!!!😊 Take Care & Have a Great Weekend!! ☺️ TFS!! 🥰🥰 P.S. Your Card turned out so Pretty!! 😍 Also, that was Clever using that little Spatula thing & putting Wet Glue on it & then tap the Word "Faith" die cut in the Glue .. so Easy. All this time I've been using a bottle & trying to get little dots on the skinny lines 🤣 I'm definitely gonna be doing the way you did in your video. TYVM for that Idea!! 🤗☺️
I have never bought a stamp positioner because they are so pricey....this is a genius solution that i am going to do! Thank you for the very clear instructions that will be so easy to follow! Thank you so much for sharing! Going to subscribe to your channel, I am so glad I found you!
Wooooo this is so exciting. I bought acrylic stamps from the DT years ago even though I don’t have ink pads. Well I just learned that you can use watercolor and many other things instead!!! I googled diy stamp press and this video was the first thing that popped up. So pumped that my old dollar tree addiction is paying off because I already have everything in this video!
I just love homemade cards, it shows the person receiving the card how much time, thought, and just love that was put into the card that they are receiving. the stamping tool is very neat as well. i understand you can always just buy the already made ones, but this is cheaper and it's something to do!!! thank you for the video! please keep them coming!
I agree with everything you said except, "you can always buy the already made ones". I remember the days when I had to make sure to leave enough money at the end of the week for milk and bread because our paycheck was figured down to the last dollar. She created something that will allow the crafters on a tight budget to make this very functional, easily assembled piece of equipment at very little cost. For me, that is the real charm of it all ❤❤
Agree! It took years for me to save up & justify buying my platform…& even then was such a big decision. So what great ‘inexpensive’ expensive gifts these would make, right? Under $5 for a gift ANY crafter would love.
A Thumbs Up girl you did great. I always wanted a small stamp Platform but hated to put the money out for it. I have Tim Holtz and the StampNUp Platform wanted something light and small. Sure Appreciate you showing how to make one. Patt from Oklahoma USA
Excellent video! I have a small craft space & like small tools. This is excellent & I will be making it. Thank you for sharing this. The card is beautiful too! I like your gluing technique on the word Faith, another great idea.
This video popped up in my suggestions. While I have the Tim holtz platform I clicked on it out of curiosity. This is brilliant! I’m new to card making. I’m going to make one to leave at my moms while I visit a couple times a year for several weeks at a time. My last trip I missed a platform. Thank you for making and sharing this video!
You are so creative! This would be a great travel stamp platform since it's so thin and light. I've already made your ink stand and bought the supplies to make another one. I just love your DIY projects. Thank you so much for sharing this with us :)
It was so easy to make! Dollar tree had a 4x4 frame so I used that just for fun and it’s adorable! Great instructions! I’ll make the 4x6 one next. But thanks for the motivation of making the instructions simple!
