it has a real "Claymation" look to it - which I like - sometimes when motion capture is too good it actually is not as enjoyable to watch - thanks - I'm using Sony Mocopi and Glycon3d and the iPhone Live Face - thanks for sharing it
Hello sir can we record animation for metahuman in sequencer using Dollars Mono, I'm having issue with finger stretching .....can you help me in this issue....i want to make cinematic stuff.
Is it only for mocap or can be used to animate faces in the game with custom made characters? Is it possible to have bunch of needed premade face expressions and animations to switch or combine between them as in live2d or in metahuman faces? I am just planning to make a storytelling game and to have an instrument that can be applied to all characters on a fly and not to animate each of them separately from scratch. And thank you for your work, it looks amazing!
It can be used to animate the faces and works with custom characters, i found working with the Iphone is really good for facial capture. You could also setup morph targets for different facial expressions and set these to trigger keys.
I've been experimenting with Dollars Mocap with Cartoon Animator 5 - when I say experimenting, basically importing motions created with Dollars Mocap and converted to rlMotion files with iClone/3DXchange. Do you think it would be possible to create a Dollars Mocap Profile that would work directly with CTA's Motion Live 2D Plug-in? Would be so good to be able to live puppet with face, hand, and body motion capture directly into CTA5.
I know there is a live mocap stream from Iclone to CTA5 and Dollars has the Iclone plugin, so maybe you could stream the mocap from Dollars to Iclone to CTA5.
@@DigitalPuppets I am aware of that but iClone8 has decided it no longer wants to work on my system so I haven't been able to try it. However Daisy chaining iClone just to get live motion capture in CTA isn't a solution for most CTA users, and then if you want to run OBS as well, so you can live stream in front of a game... that's just a crazy strain on the system. CTA can accept a live mocap feed with the Motion Live 2D plug-in plus the webcam profile. If someone could make a Dollar Mocap profile for CTA direct mocap, a lot of users would definitely buy it.
We create these vtuber avatars for diffrent people and so some use the Dollars setup, some use Rokoko or Xsens and some work with the keyboard triggers :)
@@cthrower were just using it for the vtuber setup, though i suppose it could be used for other animations, but id probably look at the version of dollars that works with the connect or other trackers for better mocap results.
Not in the demo app, but i can easily import FBX files exported with CC4 in the Unreal project and replace the characters i have. So even if you have a non CC4 model it can be converted through CC4.
