Does anyone here know enough about music to say how this differs from the original version? I can hear the difference but i cannot describe it. I am referring chiefly to the vocal performance. It is so different. Don't get me wrong. I love it. It's Dolly after all. Just curious.
HAS TO BE MY FAVORITE DOLLY LOOK... BLEACHED BLOND BIG HAIR.. SKINTIGHT OUTFIT... LONG CLAWS... BOOTS OF 5" BUT, MOSTLY CAUSE SHE ACTS SO FEMININE W THAT SOPRANO VOICE THAT GOES INTO A TEASING SQUEEL... IN THIS VIDEOM SHE ACTS MORE GENUINE, AND THAT VOICE...SHE IS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS BLOND, PETITE N BUSTY... SHE IS ADORABLE! WOW
a lot of people said it's open D or open G, but it's actually open C# or Db. same as open D tuning but dropped down a half step (not D-A-D-F#-A-D but C#-G#-C#-F-G#-C# or Db-Ab-Db-F-Ab-Db). she then switches between the open C# chord and barre-ing the 5th fret for the IV chord (F#) and the 7th fret for the V chord (G#). that and some nice pull-offs here and there and you have yourself a country-folk blues! hope this helps
