I can't tell you what a comfort you are to me. I am a grief counselor in hospice and I work with so much sadness and despair on a daily basis. When I can sit down and watch one of your videos, it's like coming home. I look forward to them like you would not believe. God bless you for doing the important work you do that is such an important lifeline for people like me.
Thank you for what you do , Sarah. I am receiving grief therapy from Hospice. It has been a rough couple of years, but the folks from hospice are blessings.
I love it when you say, "I don't mind the job - it's just another domestic chore." Poetry to my ears. Many thanks, and blessings upon you, Mr. Fox, Avery, Binkie and Goldie!
Mr Fox hit the jackpot when he met up. I can’t imagine a more gracious & kind partner that not only keeps the place tidy but then makes delicious meals one after another.
I love watching your shows. Somehow they got into my feed and I’m grateful. I’m a sole caretaker of my husband with Alzheimer’s and somehow your videos serve as such solace to me.
My heart goes out to you...I don't even have the proper words to say, but you are a wonderful person. Yes. Thank goodness for Kevin. He is a breath of positivity and tenderness.
Wonderful! Sharing your day with us, as you go about your "domestic chores", is like watching an artist create a masterpiece. Thank you for making our lives richer ! Joy
Kevin, what a beautiful personality you have. You are my early morning indulgence! Your very cute and calm approach to the upkeep of your gorgeous home is warm to watch. Please give us lots more. I love you!

Thank you for so many videos where we get to enjoy your gorgeous home/yard! You keep it so nice and take care of yourself physically and emotionally- I’d love to see a video with snippets of a typical day to see how manage so much into your seemingly balanced schedule. Exercise, cleaning, shopping, book/music time, etc. Etc. 2-year subscriber who loves the kind and zen-like atmosphere you exude through the lens.
Using roses in floral arrangements in winter reminds me of a favorite quote, "Memory is the power to gather roses in winter." Its been said different ways in different contexts, but I think its a lovely sentiment. Thank you for such a lovely video. The tart sounds delicious as well as beautiful and quick to make.
What a kind, gracious man you are! You are giving us far more than tours of your beautul home and I can almost taste your delicious recipes. You are the epitome of grace and kindness, and a natural charm. You are what this sick world desperately needs!
I LOVE to iron! It is a 'mindless' activity that is a metaphor for life. On one side I have clean but wrinkled napkins in a pile - T-shirts too - and when I finish, like an organized mind, I have a newly ironed stack or stacks of ironed items. My friends disagree but for me, it is not a chore but an activity that seems to please me in the orderly finish. However, dusting is not a pleasure for me, but a necessity.
I have just discovered your channel and I am so enjoying your programs. You are a breath of fresh air in an otherwise bland world.Very few of the ''young folk''have any interest in setting a proper table these days.Re your video when you talked about cloth napkins,I have amassed quite a collection of both dinner napkins and hand towels simply by attending church bazaar sales. The present generation do not seem to want to take the time to spend in caring for a beautiful tablescape.Keep up the good work.Susan in Toronto ,Ontario .Canada
I enjoy the format of your videos. Kevin you are so rare these days. I love the formality of everything you do. It is truly a lost art. I can see the pride you take in your home and lifestyle.
Dear KLJ I'm absolutely addicted to your channel!!! You are 100% classy and elegant! A refreshing combination in today's world! Please keep doing what you do so very well. ❤
I have to admit, cleaning is not one of my favorite things to do, but watching you inspired me to get going on my 'domestic chores'. Your videos are always a pleasure.
Other than myself, you're the first person I've run across to iron cloth napkins. I iron all of my napkins. It seems that a lot of people don't even own an iron.
recent subscriber here - i’ve been enjoying EVERYTHING about your channel. It’s also exciting to see how quickly your channel is growing - in just a few weeks it has jumped from 80 to 90k subscribers!!! Your voice, manner of speaking, gentlemanly demeanor, helpful directions, yummy recipes, creativity, designer’s eye - all so very pleasant. Maybe in this new year you would consider treating us to a little bit more of your piano-playing (pretty please?). Thank you for this gift you give us of sharing your life with us.
Oh my. You look like you could be a brother to my late husband who passed away 11 years ago at the age of 72. Your videos are so gracious and beautiful and I've asked the Lord to make sure you make it to heaven because you can teach the rest of us how to live so graciously and charmingly and beautifully. You can be sure that heaven is filled with such beauty and loveliness and charm because of the Great Love that Our Creator has for us and He wants all His children with Him! Thank you for your lovely gentle personality and you're beautiful sharing with everything that is precious to you. God bless you and your loved ones. 🤗🙏🌹
So nice to have a quiet space with you today. Here on the NW coast of Oregon a layer of ice has prevented travel into town for church service. We have mostly steep hills getting into and out of tkwn. Some roads are closed altogether. Spending this time with you and a cup of mocha coffee has motivated me to clear Christmas and Epiphany away and move into the season of hope. Blessings to you for 2024. P.S. Even my cat, C!over, likes watching you.
How I love your beautiful, Zen-like videos ! I get so many recipe ideas, and absolutely get inspired to clean and freshen up my home. Some of my favorite videos of yours are actually you cleaning your very beautiful home ! Thank you for sharing your ideas for home and garden !
I make this vegetable tart recipe of yours regularly, Kevin, and it never fails, and always delights. I am so pleased you shared it with us! A pleasure, as always, to enjoy your company in this video. Love from England 😊
Kevin, when you invite friends over for drinks and nibbles, do they tend to linger longer in hopes that you'll serve them one of your wonderful dinners?! 😉🍷
Thank you Kevin for another visually stunning, thoughtful and straight to the heart video. My mom and I are always encouraged to cook and clean all the things we never do. Please know you are greatly appreciated. Enjoy your Sunday. Sending much love.
Right? I have never been so inspired to clean, and it is one of my biggest faults. I feel incredibly renewed and motivated to change my. "bad" ways! = )
My wife and I just found your show in early December. We are delighted to have found you. We've binge watching your older shows. We love your and Mr Fox's home so beautiful.✨☕🎖🙏 You're a great teacher I've learned alot. Thank you for sharing your story with us your a nice man. Rich Kelly🚀🤖☕
Ok, I have a big complaint-we need MORE Kevin! Your videos are simply charming as well as educational. For example cleaning walls was something I hated until I saw you mopping them. I whipped out my long handled swiffer and breezed through them. Your presentations are so calm and elegant. Thank you, Kevin, for sharing with us all.❤
I am really enjoying your videos. You make me feel welcomed in your home and the warmth of your soul is truly present. Thank you for allowing me in your daily life.
As I watch Kevin make this beautiful tart, Im enjoying his sweet cream scones with clotted cream and blackberry fruit spread. Delicious! Im going to make the vegetable tart next; yum! Thank you so much Kevin ❤
Hello, Kevin. Thank you for another enjoyable vid! I, too, love cloth napkins and love to iron as well. I used to do a lot of sewing on home decor projects for my home (drapes, pillows, etc) and a lot of ironing is involved when sewing so I purchased a Rowenta steam iron with a large tank. It’s fabulous! The iron itself is quite light but the tank holds a good amount of water so you can keep going without stopping to constantly refill. I don’t do quite that amount of ironing today but still do shirts, blouses, top sheets and pillow cases so it’s great to have. For cloth napkins (dinner or cocktail) I always check the sales at Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma. I love their merchandise and their sales are terrific. Those and other sites like them are good to check out. I now have a solid supply of nice napkins. Finally, that veggie “pizza” is going on the menu this week! Looks delicious and I need to get more veggies in. Thanks for that recipe. Have a lovely day!❤
Beautiful pianos! I'm not sure which one I like better. Love them both. The house looks so clean and comfortable. Very inviting. I love the pink rose bouquet. The tart looks delicious. Perfect for a cold winter's day by the fire. I wanted to reach in virtually and have a sip or two of the Coppela Claret in the balloon goblet. Lovely. You could serve something like chocolate truffles for a little desert after. I received at least three pounds of truffles for Christmas, from various friends. The secrets out. I'm a chocoholic. Anyway, just thought that might be a good way to disperse of the remaining truffles. Thank you for the great housecleaning/tart video. I'm glad that in some small way, I help you get it done. Even if just virtually through the internet. I know that I get the courage to face certain chores from watching your show. Take care and have a great week.♥️🥘🍷💐🥦🌶️🌰🥬
You could buy suitable fabric , lace....... and sew your own napkins. They are pretty simple to make for anyone who sews. Those pink roses are breath taking. ❤
We are having some unusually cold weather in Texas today and watching your video was a perfect pass time for this Sunday afternoon. Thanks so much for inviting us into your home.
The tart is a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. My mouth watered when I heard you crunch into that lovely puff pastry crust. Will definitely try that. It's like a healthy pizza, right? I like you even more now that I know we share an appreciation for cloth napkins. I've got a big collection of them that I can't part with even though I don't entertain as much as I once did. Also, how is it that having watched so many of your episodes I failed to notice your spectacular red Persian rug in the music room? I'm trying not to covet it but it's not working. Love ya, Kevin - you and your examples of gracious living.
Thanks Kevin. In South Africa and on our farm very hot at the moment. And my air-con in the kitchen blew and I sm busy making your veggie tart. I am 76 and I enjoy your program so very much. Can't wait for every new video. Regards
Your music room is so beautiful! I love the wallpaper and the pink roses are perfect. Your videos are like a meditation, I always feel better after watching. 😊
I stumbled upon your channel about two weeks ago and have been binge watching since then. I love your home, your gentle nature and your recipes. I’ve not seen your mysterious Mr Fox but keep hoping! I love seeing your garden in all four seasons. In Texas we have 1 month of ice, 3 weeks of spring, 10 months of burning hot and 1 week of Autumn. No necessarily in the appropriate order. And I love your fur babies. I get tickled when you say that our local supermarket or grocery store will have this or that item of food. I have to drive an hour to Dallas to find delicata squash. I got one though. Can’t wait to try it. Stay warm and thank you so much for sharing your life with us.
Love your episodes! You are so nice and sweat ♥️ I would like to see more home decoration videos, first floor rooms and bathrooms, as well as garden design
As we age, using tools to help make moving a big KitchenAid Mixer and adding ingredients safely are so helpful. I love being able to move the mixer on the special sliding pad. I made cupcakes today, and I know it is because I watched your cooking as a treat before and after cleaning or organizing, or in my case, making arts, sewing and crafts! I made masks in 2020, and use them as pockets on fleece ponchos. I have come up with a (2) pillowcase poncho. What I like most about cooking are the smells!
Your home is beautiful and very welcoming. How lovely to enjoy a delicious meal by a roaring fire on a cold winter’s day. Thank you Kevin for a little gentility in our crazy world.🙏🏼❤️
Dear Kevin, I agree with you that domestic chores can be contemplative and restorative. I too do not mind ironing napkins, it is a very satisfying task that is easily completed quickly. Thanks for sharing your harvesting tips and cleaning routines with us. L
Hi Kevin! I finally got round to watching this episode. Your Vegetable Tart has definitely taken my fancy. The colours of the vegetables and crunch of the pastry make it look so appetising! So much so, I bought all the ingredients required today. Ridiculously, I had to shop in THREE different supermarkets to get everything I wanted! I'm all set though to make this tart for tomorrow. So satisfying for you while dealing with all your home grown onions. Slightly different of course to the way people in the past dealt with vegetables but the principles have remained the same. So industrious too, real fires do demand extra cleaning but so worthwhile and that pile of napkins for ironing. Made me quite worn out just watching you!! The pink roses you bought look beautiful particularly when garden greenery had been added. Another extra special visit to your home and tomorrow I will be sharing a little of your expertise when making your Vegetable Tart. I'm really looking forward to making and eating it already. As Ever, Steve xx
It is snowing today where I live, and I could not have enjoyed it more than I do spending time watching what you are cooking for our cold winter day! Have a blessed day!❤
To add to my calm mindfulness I have just ‘found’ you again Kevin. I’m always looking for new recipes too but what I would really enjoy would be to see you play your beautiful piano. Thank you in advance if it is already you playing to accompany your videos…❤
What a kind and lovely person you are. I feel inspired watching you go about your chores. P.S. This is the first time I've ever made a comment on line.
It's so precious that you included us in the planting of your onions together, as well as cleaning the music room. I buy extra onions and green or red peppers when I shop, specifically to mince (separately) in my food processor. I layer the pulp between paper towels in a bowl. Once the paper towel has absorbed the liquid, I put the onion or peppers in a large zip lock bag in a thin layer, freezing it flat. When cooking any dish requiring onion, etc., I simply break off a piece. So convenient when my mother wants a delicious omlet for breakfast. I freeze cooked and drained mushrooms the same way.
Kevin - what a stunning walk through your beautiful winter wonderland - although the video is the former one & not this one - I wanted to let you know my appreciation for your amazing videos & all the hard work that goes into making them - you are always so cheerful - always smiling & listening to you lifts the spirit - loved your vegetable tart!! - it looked so yummy - much love to you & have a great 2024.
Oh Kevin! Yet another pleasant video. Just what I needed to get me motivated to clean my place 😊 Thanks again for inviting us to your beautiful home. Will definitely try the veggie tart recipe. Blessings 🙏 to All 🕊️
I have that same exact chopping gadget, and I absolutely love it. It makes chopping so much easier, especially if I need to chop veggies for soups and stews. I highly recommend it. Although I live in the US, I do appreciate it when you give the metric equivalents in measurements, especially with baking, since measuring the ingredients in grams is a major game changer when it comes to how the product comes out. I enjoy your videos on gracious living so much. I get so many good ideas from them. Thank you!
I love ironing too and collect and use vintage table linens. One of my secrets to ironing is to iron linen or cotton when it is freshly washed and very damp. The iron dries the cotton. Everything looks professionally laundered. I hope you give it a try. Happy homekeeping in the snow.
