I bought Dominar 400 Touring edition at 7/9/2022. Oda reading 1100kms. Before that I used 150cc Pulsar . It's my second bike My review of this bike after 1 month: It may useful for Dominar 400 lover 💚 Performance : It's really awesome and above 5000rpm bike feel very smooth. I won't feel any vibration. Brake : Front brake performance is good and easily helps us to stop the bike even at panic braking. Rear brake performance is not good need improvement it's not helpful. Overall braking for this bike is fine ABS working superb. Handling : Superb in crusing speed especially at highway. Due to its 195kg weight gives you the confidence. Initially I struggled in city handling after few days it's fine for me. We can drive like normal bike in city also. Good in stability and handling in all areas. Transmission : clutch is smooth but gearbox is noisy. Slipper clutch working good but not best. Appearance: 2022 touring edition looks awesome. While driving most of them are asking the bike name and am getting good compliment from unknown people. Definately we will enjoy while riding. Mileage : Depends upon our driving only. I tested so many times by full tank to full tank method. In city bumper to bumper heavy traffic 1st and 2nd gear usage it gives. 20kmpl. Average city traffic 1 to 4th gear usage 24kmpl. Highway at the speed of 70 to 80kmph it gives 32 to 34. If we drive faster in highway then 25 to 30kmpl only. Then if we drive 60 to 65kmph in 6th gear at highway I got 40kmpl. Above mileage details are fully tested by me in my bike tank full method. Bike show appropriate mileage in display and that's great. Tyre: Grip is good, superb in highway crusing speed. Headlight : superb in segment. Good visibility at night time. Attractive looking for the bike is headlight . Speedometer Display is fine shows all information. In heavy sunlight it feel dull. Suspension : Both suspension working fine. Good in comfort. Exhaust : Fantastic sound like super bike. Definately we will enjoy while riding. Seat : seat comfortable is good it's feel little hard but it's fine no issue. Rear seat comfortable is good in this segment. For ladies also comfortable. It's suits for family as well. Horn : sound is not good, also not loud. Heating: Cooling system working properly. Initially I felt so much heat after 600kms its fine. Heavy city traffic you will feel the heat. In normal drive the heat transfer upto the fuel cap. I am using tank bag and that bag filled with heat. Due to heat in fuel cap. Crusing speed : Easily cruze around 120kmph continuously without any stress. Stable in cross wind also 💯 Maintenance : First service only done. Cost is fine. Overall its value for money package. For this price we get 375cc. Comfortable for city and highway usage. The only bike with higher cc which suits for family. Compare to other bajaj bike this one is good in fit and finish. If you consider mileage and going to use mostly in city means it's not suits you. Otherwise overall a complete package 💯 Fantastic bike 💚❤️
Just a reminder that you might already know, always clean off the spilled petrol from the paint immediately. Or it might make the paint lighter or faded around that area. 🤝 Noice bike btw.
Thanks for sharing the information. because of PPF installed on my bike I didn’t care that. But I’ll keep that in my mind for sure. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed the video.❤️
I commute 60 kms a day and have clocked a milage of 5600 km on my Bajaj Dominar 400 UG. City milage is 32 - 36 kmpl depending upon the driving style. If driven hard it returns a milage of 23 - 25kmpl. If ride properly while keeping the rpm between 3000 - 3500 and shifting the gears at the right moment the bike has returned a milage of 43 kmpl in slow moving traffic at a pace of 47 km/h. On highways at speeds between 100 - 120 kmph, the bike returns an average of 28 kmpl. However at stop and go traffic the weight can be felt. once it hits 15km/h its manageable. After that the bikes does feel heavy but is easily manageable. when stationary once the bikes flip to 85°, the bike being heavy, its a struggle once again to bring the bike to 90° position. If you are below 5'8" would suggest to take a test ride and especially try to handle the bike when stationary before finalizing on the bike. Conclusion: Excellent bike to own and ride if you can handle it's weight.
I went on a trip of 200kms total on my bike with a pillion and some stuff i weigh 160 kgs myself and my pillion weighed around 67kg and the stuff that we had weighed around 7kg and the trip was through straight highways and mountains so going up and down and it returned an average of 31 kmpl
Recently i went to Uttarakhand trip with pillion i got almost 28kmpl on mountains. You got good mileage though. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed the video👍
@@UpToRide and one more thing i would suggest you to make a video about its CONS cause i own the same model and i know what problems it has like power lag, poor rear brake, wobble issue etc... And on youtube no one has addressed it so far
Sure brother. I didn’t faced any problem regarding power lag. But yes rear brake is not good and I addressed that so many times. Also wobble issue i faced when i crossed speed over 160kmph. Did u feel handle wobble in normal rides ?
Mileage Would have been more exact if you had first filled the tank fully with locked nozzle using auto-cutoff & then went to the same petrol pump and nozzle to refill using auto-cutoff.
I have got upto 43 kmph. Just keep the RPM at about 3500 and change gears at d right time, don't let ur engine knock. set your display control to "Dynamic range" adjust accelerator to a level at which it will show optimum milage.
amzn.to/3DhjXfS Here is the link brother. But you’ll find locally much cheaper than online. So please go to local market near u before order online. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed the video.👍
Bhai thodi problem ho skti hai. Kyoki bike ka weight thoda zyada hai aur seat height bhi upar hai. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe if you’ve enjoyed the video. ✌️
Getting 28-30 in city. It was the weight due to that we got too low on expressway. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed the video.🙏❤️
Bro it depends on your budget and uses. Agar sirf city ride ke liye chahiye then 250 is good but agar main touring ke purpose se chahiye then go for 400. You will enjoy the 40bhp power on the highways. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe if you enjoyed the video.❤️
1st service tk dalwaya tha but abhi nhi kyoki bs6 k baad normal petrol ka octane bdha diya gya hai. Iske user manual me bhi normal hi likha hai.👍 Check other videos as well and if u like then don’t forget to subscribe the channel✌️
Purchased from local shop. Costed me around 280rs quality is good and value for money. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe if you’ve enjoyed the video❤️
this is the latest edition ,2022 .the milage will gradually increase after running for some times, and try to use motul or liquimolly engine oils for smoothness and fr better mileage,
@@UpToRide Can we get connected via Insta?? I am too a moto enthusiast and I belong to this automobile background. Hope to share and gain some knowledge.

Recently i had a 580 km highway trip on my new dominar 400 with pillion. My cruising speed was 110-120 and sometimes i was touching 140-145. But surprisingly the mileage that i got was 31 kmpl. Very much impressive. How did you get only 25 and that too your speed was more relaxed than me? 🤔
