Is there anyone else out there who loves having Dominican Spaghetti at the beach? Let me know you if you're Team Dominican Spaghetti at the beach lol Good times!
I'm from NY and my mom is from the Dominican Republic she had me cooking since I was 10. I pretty much make the spaguetti the same way except I dont use the tomato paste, only tomato sauce. I also add some grated chedder cheese right after incorporating the evaporated milk and it comes out so delicioso!!
@@Chefzeecooks I want to know how do you do it? I know you have been working out and the food you cook is soooooo Rico🙌. Do you skip a meal so you can indulge on the meal you make on video?
I’m not Dominican but my children’s dad was(R.I.P) and I learned from him and his family to bring spaghetti to the beach!! I’m definitely team beach!! But it’s been awhile since he’s passed and I haven’t taken any spaghetti to the beach but I think m I’m going to start again!! Thanks for the reminder.
My beloved mother was the Dominican Queen in the kitchen when it came to spaghetti con salami, and many, many more Dominican dishes! I miss her so much!!
Awww. I know the feeling. My grandmother was untouchable in the kitchen. Sometimes making the dishes that they were known for helps us feel closer to them especially when we miss them.
Another gem! I'm Puerto Rican and my husband is Dominican. I have made a few of your dishes and my family loves them. There favorite is pollo guisado! Thank you!!
I'm not Dominican. But my mom's best friend is and she has been in my life since I was a little girl. So let me tell you how much I love Dominican food. I want to learn to cook it. Thank you for this. Step by step. I love it! I think I'm going to surprise her one day with one of your recipes. Thanks again for your channel.
I’ve learned how to cook with you starting last year during quarantine and I leave everyone amazed; thank you so much for your amazing recipes and how easy you explain it ☺️ forever grateful.
Spaghetti and bread on the beach... you know it girl. Love it the recipe brings back memories. They will call us crazy for having bread and spaghetti and make a sandwich with it ha ha ha :)
So yummy! I didn’t have evaporated milk on hand so I used some heavy cream & added cilantro. Thank you, I am now reliving my childhood & passing it on to my children!
This came out super good 😍 ate it twice yesterday and had leftovers today. followed step by step👌🏽 thank you Ps: I totally want to eat this at the beach.
Lol I make spaghetti with salami every now and then and my family calls me crazy and noone eats it apart from me 🤣🤣 I didn't even know there was an actual recipe that a whole country eats, thanks for validating my pasta Chef Zee! 🤣🤣
Thank you so much for making my life Easier , The way you explain and add everything and of course your vibe is perfect and easy to understand and to make your dish THANK YOU 🙏
I'm making this tonight! I'll comment on the results later. I don't have Dominican salami or Dominican oregano, just the ones from the grocery store, so wish me luck 😅.
Awesome recipe and definitely one that I will have in my books! We recently moved from Jersey to Texas so we were definitely missing the convience of Dominican restaurant close by. Could't find dominican salami soooo Insub it out for some Texas smoke sausage (like a kielbasa) worked great. Thank you for you do!❤ You are a blessing!
That looks good! You just kicked me um...to the delish zone! Always ready to taste new dishes! Yummy, yum! Waving to you from south Georgia-land of best Peaches, boiled Peanuts, & Vidalia onions!🥘🍲🌭🌮🍕🍟🍿🥗🦐🍝🍠☕🗽🚑🚒🚓
This sounds similar to the Puerto Rican Salami Spaghetti, except for the addition of evaporated milk. Looks exceptionally good. Do people also add heavy cream instead of evaporated milk?
People using add evaporated milk because it's slightly sweet. However, if you added heavy cream, you'd only need 1-2 tbs to get the same effect since heavy cream is... heavy.
I’m going back to Monte Cristi to visit family this summer. I need to have spaghetti at the beach. Do y’all just cook it and throw a lid on the pot and drag it to the beach or is there a secret to packaging it for the beach 😅
Is the box of spaghetti 16oz? I always buy 8oz bc we're a family of 3. Your videos are a life saver! I'm Mexican and my husband is Dominican so I've definitely had to change it up, he will NOT easy anything spicy LOL
