You can easily see that Dominick was not a stupid guy. Very sharp, good humor and witty arguments. He could have been something if he just didn't born into that family.

Every time I watch a video with him after his death it reminds me of when he spoke about a constant dream he had. He said he dreamed that he was walking down the street and from under a car he could see Roy along with Nino saying "come join us in Hell". Ultimately in the end he knew that Nino ruined his life because he joined him in Hell whether it be figuratively or literally.

That poor man. You could see how Bensonhurst Mafia life chewed him up and spit him out. This man at one point was a young Siciliano sitting with Carlo, Paul, and Nino hearing privy shit. Probably sharp witted and good looking at the time. Here you can see he's all smiles cause of his strength but he's doing everything he can to hold it together. This dude is a man's man.

What I also like Dominick is that he doesn't constantly have to prove how tough he was. Everyone knows he was a tough guy. I don't like that thing about Sammy Gravano. Sure we know he was a killer. But in his every video he massages his own ego and points out how respected and feared he was. He makes statements like "Then The Chin/Scarpa came and told how tough he was" etc. It's almost like Sammy has a Napoleon complex and a chip on his shoulder. Sammy is a good storyteller though. But so is Dominick.

The Gambinos -- and Nino specifically/directly -- could have profited so much, by officially backing up Dom and helping him get a hit through Roulette Records.... Not only did they have the connections with the record company, they had Joe Isigro in charge of the "payola racket", in which they could have had Dom on every radio station across the country.

No...I can see you didn't really know that much about them...especially his Uncle Nino. Nino would have NEVERRR co-signed on Dom having a singing career. He thought it was soft and he knew ALOT of musicians were dope fiends. Nino even told Dom he would never sanction that so Dom knew. Nino was a old time mafioso...he would have never backed Dom singing ballads on American Bandstand bc that would have embarrassed him. He didn't care about the $$$. It was a matter of respect and Nino would have been repulsed to think of his nephew on TV singing ballads. He would have thought that would have shamed HIM AND THEIR WHOLE FAMIL
