I'm just glad only a criminal was harmed mortally and not anyone else. People should not mourn an armed robber dying while threatening innocents. It should be understood as a hard lesson to not immitate this criminal. It should be mourned that he lost his life for such a selfish and insane reason as pulling weapons on people for money in his community. Shame on the system if they try to charge him.
There would be only one good reason to charge him, and I believe it would be double Jeopardy. If he's found not guilty (even though he clearly defended himself) he can't be charged later on in life for this as a "crime". Lawsuits are a different story, but that's civil vs criminal charges. I could be wrong but glad to see they didn't charge him at all and he defended himself and Co workers.
It may seem like a selfish and insane reason to you, but the system pushes people to go to that point. A lack of money with unending bills and the only opportunity of making a living being illegal, means shit like this happens. Remember if your life were to be different, from the start to now. Then this could have easily been you. At the end of the day the robber knew what he signed up for. We all die in the end, rip.
@@a.2878 The system? That's a poor-me victim excuse. Each individual has accountability for themselves. The deceased could've gotten a legitimate job (perhaps even at this Domino's) but he wanted easy money. I began working part-time in fast food businesses when I was fifteen.
The employee did nothing wrong. Anyone has the right to defend their life against an attacker. Unfortunately, we’re going to watch as the media tries their damndest to criminalize the employee.

Yeah but it depends on what is an “attacker” and what is the “defense” Considering a person simply raising there voice could be defined as an “attack” and a great sword through the heart could be the “defense”

@Brad Carman Screw their choice. You point a gun at someone, you better expect a fight. He got exactly what he asked for. There was a choice made and he suffered the consequences of his choice.
@Brad Carman I was hooked on cocaine 20 years ago for a total of 1 year but broken in half by 6 months in rehab. But I never robbed anyone and thank God I asked for help when I went before a judge both times. The first time however I really wanted to continue doing coke. But the second time I meant it. I can’t speak for anyone else but I still had some morals. Not all users are going to rob people to get their stuff.
@Brad Carman I’m not going to try to get you to understand what I’m getting at. Cocaine is a horrible drug that makes people go absolutely insane. If it and Heroine, meth , and many other drugs could be eradicated I would prefer that. I’ve been in recovery a long time and have seen what drugs do to people and their families. Sometimes being locked up actually saves some lives and it also can make them a much worse criminal. I do believe there are many great alternatives to just locking people away just for the sake of doing so. But there are definitely some people who deserve to be locked away. I think each case is different and I’m not the one to judge over that. But leftists who always have hidden motives and agendas can’t be trusted to make any of those decisions. What do you say on that?
@Brad Carman i can dig some if not most of what you’re saying. I served in the United States Army Infantry and I did it because I love freedom and the constitution and I too believe we as individuals should be allowed to choose if we want to put anything in or not put something in our own body. I too believe incarcerations are completely out of control and many in jails or prison shouldn’t be there at all. It’s simply become a massive cash cow and is incredibly wrong. So it’s not as if I am not open to what you’re trying to get at. I’m not sure if legalizing all drugs is the answer either. But what I am sure of is big government sucks!
People are tired of being victimized. Crime needs to stop and criminals need to be aware that armed citizens are far less lenient than the police ever would be.
Speaking of police I am sick of being bullied by them. They're the only ppl who ever held a gun to me. Last time the guy had his finger on the trigger. I should've reported him, but I was terrified because he lived in my neighborhood. Tbh, being black in the suburbs is terrifying. Ppl call the cops on you for walking to work. Or waiting for the bus. Or listening to headphones. I'm not even scared to think that one day, I'm just gonna get shot by the cops for no reason. I just wish I was allowed to fire first. That undercover who put me 3 pounds from death, I wish I had legal protection to shoot them first. Because if it was anyone else, I would probably be ok to do so. But if it was a cop, I'm gonna die. It doesn't matter if I surrender when the cops come, they'll kill me in holding. I'm so damn sick of these fucking tyrants. They're the only people who ever put my life at risk, why can't we fight them back?
If anyone is willing to point a gun at someone, they should be aware that it might get them shot in turn. This employee did nothing wrong. All he did was defend himself. And, as is in his job description, 'took out the trash'.
@Ilhan Abdullahi Omar It is what governments do they break your legs so that you need them but as they are a monopoly they don't actually need to take care of you properly.
@Ilhan Abdullahi Omar The only victims are the ones managing the store. The robber wouldn't be dead if he didn't try at the first place. I dont care if he supposedly had no choice blah, blah, blah because he still had the choice not to. He put someone else life at risk and had to bet his life as an equal exchange. He got shot and lost his life, but he is 100% okay with it because it was the consequences of his choice. Lets say that what the robber would say presently would be "Oh well, i tried". Anyway the problem is fixed since he doesn't need that money anymore because he cant use it where he is now. He got the instant salvation he deserved.
@Ilhan Abdullahi Omar You are Wrong! The criminal isn't a victim. He had the same opportunities as many others to over come his socio-economic issues who took advantage of the available schools, college and trade programs. There are way too many success stories of people doing the work to make something of themselves. It's all about choices. This criminal chose to ignore available opportunities, instead he didn't want to work, he didn't want to put the time and effort in to be successful. Stop making excuses for criminals, stop calling them victims, and stop blaming the white man for their problems. It was the white man, along with the community leaders who brought the opportunities and programs to the socio-economic areas to give people a way out of poverty and way to success. You can't blame white supremacy and echoes of slavery (which is ridiculous) without making it sound like people from the inner cities (or where ever) don't have the common sense to obey the law, pay attention in school, and fill out job applications. Stop asking for someone to do everything for you.
"But some of those hearing about the shooting are finding it difficult to sympathize with the robber." If I walked into a bear cave and started to threaten bear cubs, then mamma bear mauls my dumbass to death, I'm pretty sure "sympathize" wouldn't be the word people would use for my death.

I hope people understand it is your life being threaten when someone points a gun at you. You have every right to protect yourself because you are innocent !!!!!
@Gwen Nelson This is why people get shot during robberies. They only want the money, but killers like this make robbers with itchy trigger fingers. You see, it is against policy for workers to be armed. You are protecting someone else's insured money. I say the friends and family should put a hit on the killer, you already know where he or she works. Eye for an eye bitches 💃🥳🎈
