Hunting level 50 hostiles for a hot minute with Enterprise. Camped at level 39. Ascension key on standby. All essential buildings at level 39. Enterprise at Tier 8 8.8M strength wise. Tiring up Antares so the miner can travel on its own ,and doing the Klingon miner too. Not moving on until every efficiency research for rss is done. Received Enterprise back in April. Plan on Kelvin and that Romulan explorer and Hydra for the next long haul. My first time playing. It most certainly is about sustainability. I am a free to play player.

I completely agree with you. I am on OPS 43 now, with 66mil power. this game is a game of patience. the very much point you cant say often enough is, it will getting frustrating if you see every day in your daylies and events your weakness in all directions. better is, take the time it needs to upgrade your buildings, researches on your OPS level, choose your ships wisely.

Alright family here's the biggest advice you need. It's harder to get the good officers at higher ops levels. So make sure all your sub buildings are upgraded as far as u can go. And make sure all your ships are upgraded as far as u can get them first. The main thing is the higher u go the harder it is to srouce the good officers

Hey just want to share a trick that a fellow alliance member showed me regarding Hirogen Relics farming for voyager blue prints. If you have a fully tiered Saladin (or similar) and a crew with 5of11/Tal/Nero you can save a lot of time (if you don't mind to spend some tritanium/dilithium & repair speed ups). You need to go the Velixys system and search for Hirogen survey ships there. You can kill these with a little bit of RNG luck (with how often you trigger burning and therefore Tal's officer ability) You just need to kill one ship to get your daily need of hirogen relics for the voyager BP

Hey, just wanted to jump in and say thanks for the tip. Just send my Sally there with the crew. It took 3 tries, but gave me 1,120 hirogen relics once i finally defeated one.

When you get to 39, be prepared to camp out upgrading ships,station, and research. It will be well worth it. Punching up on level 50 ships in Dominion space. Makes some of the events with 1 to 3 ship kills.

i agree even spending a short camp on each ops level to do everything yes at lower ops its faster but in the mid to late ops they get really long but the mess hall helps with research but there is no building that helps with construction speed other then commander spock i made the mistake on my main going up to fast instead of taking my time

Upgrading your Ops is not how you get more powerful, its how you face more difficult hostiles. The way you get more powerful is by adding buildings, research, and officers.

I feel like this used to be true, but really isn't anymore. Power creep has been such that I don't think any dailies are difficult for anyone at any point anymore. I think the new Meta is to get to the efficiency researches as fast as possible, and upgrading Ops levels is the best way to increase your income.
