this is so cool! Me and my boyfriend tried to beat him but the second phase was so hard because of the intense lag, we're still seeing how to beat Klaus or we will have to use cheese tactics i'm afraid
First phase seems to be very well executed, only thing I would add is to keep attacking klaus then run around him while his ice deer attacks. But considering you are doing no damage and running around has slightly higher risk, it may not be worth. Second phase however I didn’t quite get. Why did you do periodic quick attacks when clearly at least 3 attacks can be done in the interval. And you also spaced out his attack pattern so that he would constantly attack with his deer. Wouldn’t that make the fight harder? And when you made him attack with his deer, you also didn’t seem to catch onto when his ice deer is attacking to get the free hits off. Are these for a certain reason? I believe this isn’t for risk since I think getting in a last hit after klaus swings twice during second phase is a little bit riskier
Like you said, as I am doing a no damage run, a lot of things I do here are complete overkill even for a no armour run. For example, in a no armour run you can take freeze chip damage, get mauled by the deer and risk taking a swipe attack or two from Klaus and you'd still make the run, easily. However, when you want to do a no damage run things get exponentially hard and, believe me, after you have fought the same boss quite a few times, all of a sudden you just want to get it over and done with and dps goes out the window. Now, to answer your questions on the second part, I was only attacking once and then kiting back because I lost track of how many times I had hit Klaus. It is important to know roughly when Klaus will die as his deer will instantly attack you once you kill Klaus for good. If you haven't started kiting back, then they will hit you and you will fail your run right at the end of the fight. I've had a few runs fail like that and it's the worst! As I find his magic attacks the easiest to dodge, waiting out his magic attacks made the fight easier and a lot more risk free. Basically, I wanted to wait out his magic attack and chomp, then bait out his swipe and hit him as many times as I wanted. In the previous practice runs, such as the one below, I was a lot more enthusiastic about maximising my dps but, as mentioned earlier, I eventually decided I just wanted to get the challenge done and went with a boring zero risk strategy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dpK2fuTxl6Q.html (this video is unlisted but you should still be able to view it). ^The reason why I didn't end up avoiding his chomp attack was because I was debating whether I should risk spawning Pengulls and, while distracted, ended up dodging a little too late.
Keyzuno Ahh, thanks for the very long reply. Learned a lot! Never considered the past hits of the deer to be a problem during a no damage run! Continue making videos, contents are great!
Of course. All characters can do this. Just remember to bring a walking cane to make it easier! Dodging the Krampus might be hard without two speed boosts, so I would suggest using a road and cane to dodge them if you're playing Wilson.
@@thegreatpotato7817 ok listen there is a few wrong moves you did like when klues do the fire spell you can tank it intel the spell actually spelled and when the freezing spell attack you can stand behind it while he spelling the spell in the other side you were in and no the krumpes is not hard to kite I can kite it with no speed boost(not playing as wolfgang) But still very good 👍 But still good vid
