You are a great MP, but your party has lied constantly and hasn't been conservative for over 20 years. You need to stand for the SDP or Reform....Your party is toast.

Unfortunately your Party is not now and has not been listening to the electorate for a very long time. In 2019 your Party had a clear and unambiguous mandate which they chose to ignore completely. The fact you admit you were going to be thrown out of that Party for challenging a bad idea speaks volumes alone.

Miriam, it was difficult not to vote for someone else this time round. Only your tack record, dedication and genuine passion got you two votes from this house. But I must stress, our votes were for YOU and not for your party. As you are no doubt picking up from the other comments in this thread, people are very unhappy with the Conservative Party and its direction. Let me echo what others have already said - yourself and any other remaining true Conservatives really should consider moving party.

Cates seems to be one of the few decent Consocialist, but unfortunate she's in a party that has a untrustworthy sneak leading it, I hope she's wins her seat but I can't vote for the Consocialist under the leadership of sneaky Sunak.

Thank Miriam for being a true conservative and standing by your beliefs and principles. The conservatives might not win this election but we need to keep the good decent MPs like yourself to be an effective opposition to the ruling party, so much of what’s gone wrong in this country is because the tortes have not been challenged and held to account enough. You're a great MP and the perfect example of what a woman is, but take a walk through your city centre or to any school gate and it's like you're in the third world!
