I give my power away at work by stifling my personality and self-expression to be a beige, acceptable corporate drone so that I have money to care for myself and others. My creativity is shriveled and dying. I've had periods in life where I really felt a strong connection to higher frequencies accompanied by some supernatural experiences. I want that state of being back without having to get sick or nearly die. I feel a great sickness in the world dominated by the need to consume, consume, consume. It's a very lonely place to be and my anxiety is very uncomfortable. You both help me feel better. I wonder if you could send an intention to the universe to help me find my power and purpose again. You're very special Anita. I tell everybody about you.

Homework: I find myself giving my power away when I'm not able to discern the ill will or bad behavior of others quickly enough; when I'm surprised by it or make excuses for it, questioning myself instead.

I made me a birthday gift by watching your video and doing your homework right now: What makes me giving my power away is waiting for others (loved ones) to make me happy. I´ll have to do it myself. In the way I need it at that moment. Lesson learned. Now trying to applicate.

I love to hear your voice right now. It's very comforting. I recently have lost both of my adult children, two sons and am having a miserable Christmas. Oldest son was by suicide and younger son had just finished 20 years navy career and suddenly died of a heart condition. To top it all off I have recently had what sounds like threats on my life by an unstable female drug addict and I have been going out of my mind. I need some prayer for peace of mind. Thank you for your reassurance that my kids are in a beautiful place. Right I feel a bit too anxious to get there with them. There's little for me to live for anymore. Thanks for being there.

Dear Anita, Thank you so much for your beautiful talk today. It made me consider giving my calling another chance to be blossomed. In thinking this through I've come to realize my power feels squashed by my perception that society will not accept my contributions and my "calling" to bring peace and love to a grassroots level. In your talk today, it hit home for me when you said that even though so many positive results could have been seen, with one negative response, a lack of self confidence could be all it takes to have a retraction of energy investment. This is what happened to me. I think what it boils down to, is that I haven't enough trust in myself to follow through. And I have doubt in the seemed inspiration and positive experiences that ignited my calling. FEAR seems to be my main culprit; Fear that the process isn't really going to make a difference or going to be reproducible on the global span. So, I guess, the bottom line is that the only thing that takes away my power is Me, when I give in to self doubt and fear.

Love the homework question! I find I'm giving my power away to the demanding voice in my head. The voice that tells me to do more, work harder. She seems to be the manager of the To Do list and she's always cracking that whip to go, go, go and do, do, do. I've been working on this for years and have moments of surrendering to it but the voice always creeps it's way back and controls me.

I summoned my departed loved ones and they often show up in my dreams. Sometimes I just wanted to say hi to them. I summoned my grandpa to give me advice about business and I regretted not following it because he was right! I tell my friends to summon their loved ones but they too afraid to see them. They think they will ghosts, but it's really not like that at all. I prayed to a deity Goddess of the Northern Star. She has four faces and many arms. I asked her to help cure my insomnia. I was sleeping 4 hours a day. Now I'm sleeping 7 hours. I feel great! I introduced her to my friends and she has helped them with business and money issues. I respect the Goddess but I also fear her because she is so powerful. I always feel in debt to her for all she's done. Anita, after watching this video, I think I have a better understanding of these benevolent spirits.

I am a mere 3 years :) since my healing (which you were quite influential with, and thank you) and I did not have, well, an extra sensory experience. I mean: I healed (!!!) and that was fantastically awesome, but my healing came in pretty Earth-centric ways. Did you ever, in those first years after healing, feel ... ummm... ordinary? Thank you for the clarification on John of God. People tend to paint a person either as an ideal or as a villain. Reality isn't so black-and-white. A person is sometimes inspired by the divine, and other times by the evil. One more reason not to give your power to them, while appreciating the help you've received through them.

Can you talk more about your reality after you came back from the NDE vs the "old" one? I'm specifically thinking about anything "woo woo" that might be in your life now that wasn't before. A lot of NDE'rs talk about this, they seem to come back with special gifts, and their frequency is different. I hear that they can't wear watches for instance because they tend to stop, and that they can interfere with other electrical equipment as well, without intending it. I know you talked about how you actually hear your guides now, but can't remember you talked about anything else. I'm curious! Oh, and you also said you can get a sense of what's going on in the people that ask you questions. I find these "special powers" really interesting for many reasons, one of them being that if we don't know what's possible, we won't know that we are actually doing it. I had no idea what so ever that I was intuitive until I took classes in it, because I didn't know how intuition worked. I'm also very interested in the tapestry you saw on the other side, and the specific ways your life interacted with other's lives and even your own previous/present lives. I believe there's so much you don't talk about ;)
