I enjoyed this video. I am blessed to be married to someone I feel comfortable with and share humorous moments. We hold hands a lot too. Ahhh, you two together - SO cute! The best proof of the words you speak; backing up each other, making a safe room, never critize or belittle... And if I may sneak in a little Danish pondering about the culture thing... I teach young students from a range of different cultures and when I first met the strong culture many of my students are raised in I for sure felt certain why cultures have to imigrate, mix and mingle so strongly as they do these years. Because we influence each other in so many positive levels. My Viking-strong background as an indipendent woman close to equal with our men have almost without words a great impact on our new neighbours. And my sensitive, mild young students influence me to better understand my ancestor´s challenges. What they fought for and created for us as modern Danes. So thanks for sharing your rebellious battle Anita which I see many of my young students (borh men and women) fight here in their families. Braveheartedly and courageously. Thanks again for 43 great minutes together.
Omg Danny is so cute! I swear I married the same type of person! I was bedridden for 4 yrs with rheumatoid arthritis and my hubby got me through it. He’s also quite shy and different from me. Very practical and loving. Big hugs to you and Danny ❤️😍👍 he’s adorable. You’re both lovely!!!!!

Hi Anita and Danny! I was the one asking the question about self-deprecating humour. Just wanted to clarify that I asked it out of sheer curiosity, and not as a criticism of any sort (that did not even cross my mind!). I had just come across a view, advocated by e.g. Marisa Peer, that when you've found your confidence, you do not put yourself down even in jokes. Because I do self-dep humour a lot and a lot of people around me do (I live in the UK!), I didn't know what to think about it and where it really stemmed from. I was curious about Anita's take on it and she really cleared up the confusion.
You guys are great. Thank you so much for speaking from the heart. I love every show of Anita I've watched and read her books. Can't wait for the new book to come out. Through out my life i have been struggling to find the spiritual stability and making sense of the world...I have been a Hindu always but the philosphy was a bit hard to digest beacuse of the language of scriptures and the difference between the Hindu social culture and Hindu philosphy of scriptures. Okk..I have to say this.. The hindu society is exactly opposite of what the scriptures and sages teach, for example i ask them how is this that even after krishna asks to see the same soul inside each and every being be it man,woman or even a dog then how come there is a cast heirarchy , and they dont have answer ( i think the main reason being 95 percent of hindus learn their philosphy from their neighbours and friends instead of the very source like the scriptures, or the enlightened sages) ....I m a reader since always and since childhood read the scriptures and always struggled to make sense of the contrast between the teachings of scriptures and the social practises..And was always a failure spiritually. When i listened to u first i felt like home and read ur book D T.B.M in just three days and all video that i could find. But having the "hindu" Identity in my mind deeply i always used to compare ur messages with that of hindu scriptures..and i was amazed to see the similarities and persepective..The concepts like, we are all one, we are all god element or menifestation of god and even god itself , that we are pure bliss and consciousness and god himself is bliss, love and consciousness, that all beings even the animals are just a soul like us, that time is not linear, your view on reincarnation ..as i was going through ur contents all these things which i had studied in our scriptures and by great yogis,they all came in front of my eyes and i could understand their message even more clearly...So i can say that reading u not only i became a better and happy person but it gave me a new sight a new perpective to look at things.....now i go back and read the geeta and upnishads with ur version of philosphy and believe me it makes them crystal clear to me...i now even tell to my peers and hindu friends that if u want to understand Upanishads or geeta first go and listen Anita moorjani....... Wow! You both are such an amazing couple! I love it! You made me laugh so much this morning🤣😂😅. Yes, I get you guys about about the culture since living in Canada since I was 3 years old🇨🇦. You are welcome to come to my home in Canada anytime 😇. I am the black sheep of my family and my Hindu temple. I think they outcasted me long time ago....the rebel who kept asking too many questions like” why can’t I go into the temple if I have my period....didn’t God make me this way?” that one pissed many people off. So I no longer resonated to this culture where I felt shackled and strapped and just did not resonated with the disempowerment of women and many many many other things that in my heart lost the power of my perception of truth. When I was young I wore a cross, ohm, and jewish star and chinese buddha coin on one necklace....I was chastised for this.....I always felt that every religion was one since childhood...why could people not understand this? I was forced to take that off. So today....I just don’t have any friends and family. Just my husband of 22 years and kids. But I had to go through the Twin flame cycle with him to learn the lessons.....but he is still with me for some reason. We are living that friendship type of relationship and going towards a something new. Thank you for sharing! You both have a beautiful connection! I love it!
