✨Hope you're all doing well! ✨ If you enjoyed this video let me know if you want a CONCEALER version of this BEST & WORST format, or any other product category you'd like let me know.
GOD. This was so insanely helpful. And like you are so detailed and literally answer all those specific questions and comparisons! THANK YOU! Keep up the great work!
Yes the Pacifica one! You got me into that one last year and I’m on my second bottle. I love their full coverage concealer too. Thanks for another great video 💕
I agree with every single foundation!!! Meaning ...it’s the same for me! I love mixing the Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation with the Ilia but also love the Ilia on its own - I don’t like the Ere Perez on its own but I know many do. I find it too yellow even though I mix two colors so I mix my peachy shade in with ilia and the result is beautiful! Also no coverage and I like other tinted or lighter coverage foundations better! Love the Pacifica foundation but mix in a bit of Jojoba oil cause my skin is on the drier mature side. I love the Colorescience whipped foundation and Oxygenetix Foundation. I’ve recently tried the Sen foundation but it may have broken me out but I’m not sure ...it has a nice finish and good coverage. Also tried the RMS foundation and I actually liked it --I know it got mixed reviews l! Ashley / Green Bunny loves it so I tried I but again maybe have broken me out too - ironically with both those foundations I was also getting off a meditation so I could have been that --might give both another try!!! I have a bunch of tinted moisturizers, cc creams, bb creams and tinted sunscreens I love but this is a foundation video so I won’t mention. Thanks for a great video! ❤️
I have dry acne prone skin and the Pacifica did not work for me..cakey af. However I saw comment in here about adding oil to it so I will give it a try! I added a drop of oil to my Kjaer Weis pan when I used that and it was probably my favorite clean foundation ever at that time- highly recommend adding oil to it to help it spread and I dipped in with my sponge for skin like great coverage. I love the Bite Beauty Foundation depending on my SPF underneath! Ere Perez is another one I love esp when I need solid coverage for my heavy acne days. The Lawless Foundation is hit or miss for me depending on the SPF- still working on that one but it can be gorgeous. SuperGoop CC cream is probably my most reached for at the moment..budge proof and looks flawless. I know ppl don't like Beautycounter but their foundation is phenomenal another great everyday foundation. Ilia SPF foundation has decent light coverage and I love it more than the other one they have. Its crazy how your products underneath foundation can make or break how it performs. I am trying like 10+ face SPF (I will try anything tinted) and some help the finish and longevity. Sorry to make this long but Australian Gold SPF has held my Foundation in place all day even with me wearing a mask all day for work and I went metal detecting for how about 5 hours today hiking a couple miles mostly through thick woods in 80 degree weather and my makeup did not budge even when I was sweating. Babo Botanicals Tinted SPF is bomb..luminous and pore filling for me.
Bite Beauty is one of my favorites as is the Smith & Cult Veiled Threat foundation! I have very dry skin with rosacea and some texture, so I need medium coverage that is hydrating and smoothing.
I really appreciate you focusing on how these work on textured skin... you do your makeup so well that it doesn't look like you have textured skin at all to me...but I struggle most with how foundations look over texture.
The camera definitely does wonders for my texture too! Its always been my main concern with foundations so if they accentuate texture its automatically a pass for me lol.
Yesssss to a concealer video!! I’m a darker shade than you but have the same skin concerns (combo/oily, texture) so I love these videos! So helpful in picking what products to try out.
Loved this video! I also have bad luck with the coconut oil based foundations. I wanted to know if you had to pick just one, what would it be? It seems like Pacifica is your go-to!
Thank you for the informative video. I highly recommend Sisley-Paris. Yes, it’s an expensive, luxury brand…. BUT… ALL SISLEY products without exception are 100% clean and use plant based products organically grown on Sisley’s own farms. They have their own laboratory. Most important however is that Sisley is and always has been family owned. Unlike most brands, even the other expensive brands are owned by one of the major cosmetic companies which also produce household cleaning products, like Proctor and Gamble, or Estée Lauder which is one of the producers of some of the most dangerous and unregulated cosmetic brands there are. FYI, NONE of the cosmetic companies or their products are regulated by the Food and Drug Agency, most of their ingredients are “proprietary “ … another word for top secret ingredients that are usually unregulated and or have serious side effects, think skin inflammation, allergies etc. Sisley-Paris, expensive but a little goes an exceptionally long way and the quality is simply the best! Tried and tested by millions of French and international women who only let their skin (the largest organ) absorb the best quality ingredients into the body and ultimately the bloodstream
I wouldn't recommend it for long wear for combo/oily skin, it looks pretty at first but definitely get oiler and breaks down throughout the day. Its more of a "throw on to go out really quick" type of base product for me!
I have 100% pure water foundation and ILIA SPF40. But, My skin turned out had a break out when I use ILIA SPF40. I use ILIA face primer with 100% pure foundation, it surprisingly turn out wonderful.
I wanted to love Pacifica but I don’t like something that I can still feel on my face after setting. LOVE Ilia! Will try Bite someday. Thank you so much for this video! I love Catrice foundation but don’t think it’s clean. I do love Kosas when I’m going minimal. Jane Iredale. Flower Beauty.
Ilia works with silicon and other non natural ingridients this is why they perform so well compared to pure natural organic ones. Some online shops like thegreenjungle or amazingy offer sample service what is really usefull before buying full bottle of more expensive products.
Ilia was one of the worse for me and it’s interesting since it’s so overhyped. I felt like I was going to empty the bottle just to get SOME coverage. Skin like for sure. It looked like my face was wet and that was all. I have combo to oily skin, but that didn’t really get in the way of the foundation. It simply didn’t do anything, period. I’m kind of sad because I had been looking forward to buying a clean, everyday foundation and they finally had a good sale!
Loved the format of this having the best & the worst in the same video!! Lots of great products , brands & different formulas you mentioned here, really great mix. I'm still on the hunt for a holy grail foundation. I got a sample of the Ere Perez oat milk foundation & really liked it & may try a full size of that one next. I have decent luck with that Au Naturale stick foundation , but I couldn't get the Ilia True Skin to look good on me, at least from the samples I had. Have the Vapour soft Focus right now & it's "ok", but probably wouldn't buy it again. I tried their trick from the Vapour website a few times & put on a very light layer of powder before putting on the foundation to help with the staying power/wear time. I may try that Pacifica in the future with that great price point. I don't love that it has Phenoxyethenol in it, but I still think it would be worth trying since it's so affordable. I appreciate you saying if there is a strong fragrance, as the Bite Beauty looks interesting, but I couldn't do a strong fragrance. And..............love the beautiful look you have going on in this video & the gorgeous eyes......and beautiful eye shadow colors. Take good care & I would love to see more products in the best & worst format. 😎💜
@@Halfsquatchh I got it on the Integrity Botanicals website when I placed an order. I think you can pick 3 free samples with every order & they have TONS of great samples to pick from!!
@@Halfsquatchh They have a lot of good products. I used a 15% discount code when I ordered & you might find one online, but I just pulled one up from another you tube channel I watch also & that would be "REAGAN15" . I really like the Ere Perez & I think it would be nice if you can get a sample to try.
i agree ,using the 100 clean products is amazing. i chose ilia too .i cant wait to receive the products . but is very strange one thing ...how many 100 %clean products cruelty free etc ....reuse and recycle the material of bottles and confection they produce and release in the world ? this would be an amazing step in the clean cosmetic products .even the costs will change . and the nature will say thank you also . this would be an amazing topic for a video .
I think it is unfair to compare less toxic "cleaner" beauty products like Ilia, perifica and Bite Beauty using silicon, Boron Nitride and similar ingridients with certified pure organic vegan products like 100%pure, jucy beauty and others. Because it is not the same and without silicone it is less easy to reicive such good results expect you use the ultra expensive broccoli seed oil.
I need a concealer version! Btw, what’s your favorite mascara? I have oily eyelids and máscaras tend to smudge a lot on me to the point of making me stop using it :(
Ilia outdo everyone because they use silicon and other non natural ingridients whereas many other are certificed pure organic. It is a bit strange that many in america many overlook this differentiation.
Best and worse concealer is a great idea. Another idea is a video teaching how to apply makeup well. All of it! Foundation and eye make up especially! Every day look and evening out. But nothing too hard for the ordinary inexperienced woman.
So basically all the foundations she says are BAD, are the good ones lol. Just a heads up people. Also ilia will make you look 10 years older than you are.
