Hey guys, I'm not gonna be as active in the comments as usual. Currently dealing with tendinitis on both of my arms so I'm trying to give them a bit of a break from the keyboard to heal, so hopefully we can smash out another video next week.

Cliff calling his chat the voices in his head is my favourite lore. It's even funnier when the voices become real ingame! Also the fact that unlike the ultimate treasure map, someoe actually found this loot cache and you managed to find out is just *chefs kiss*

Btw (at least since I last tested it) when you over buy the voyages they will go over the limit and show up as maxed until you’ve finished amount of voyages you overly purchased. An example being when you buy 100 legend of the veils they will show up as 50 until you’ve completed the 50 extra you purchased.

Every map in those captain's voyage turns a profit, because the supply crates you get from it cost at least 10k more to buy from an outpost

Man! I do this all the time! This is the most relaxing voyage and it’s a gamble! I’ve gotteb athena chest a couple times and ashen winds skull, they’re so fun! Try and choose to be somewhere on the map with small islands making it easier

My favorite voyages. It's the regular mega kegs digs that do it for me and that they are a quick way to resupply, or prep for a heist.

That was quite the rollercoaster

Four years ago, a RU-vidr named Zylbrad showed me for the first time a game about piracy that had just added a megalodon into the game. He had all kinds of wacky adventures on this Sea and I followed along every single one, falling in love with the player interactions and the artstyle and the nature of getting to watch a game grow. Then he stopped uploading it, I was devastated and I honestly kind of fell out of it. Four years later I now own the game despite the fact I hate pvp, and semi-frequently run it with one of my closest friends and viola! RU-vid drops another creator before me with a video uploaded *yesterday.* I'm really glad I'm apart of this community, honestly. There is honor amongst thieves, and there are also storytellers. Can't wait to see what the fuck you get up next to, Cliff, because I'll definitely be following it along. I still think my favorite interaction was the one Reaper who sailed right up and asked to engage us in combat from his boat, to which he immediately formed an alliance with us to get us Athena's rep. After we finished our tall tale and his friend got off, he invited us to his crew and showed us the legend hideout for the first time. I can't wait to unlock it on my own and see Merrick again.

I love your videos, can you make one telling the story of the sea of thieves? You are amazingg 😄

In my experience, you don't need to worry about the reaper doing world events. Once they hit grade V, they will sell at the hideout and lower the flag. What you do need to worry about is the second reaper that shows up while they are doing that. After sinking the reaper at the fort and getting grade V instantly, they will wage war on every emissary on the map, and they will not be subtle about it.

There was this one time at season 5, i buried a treasure, picked the map from the table and hided it in the island. After one hour i was server-merged - the map was at the same place and treasure also. 👍 Gonna start to test this every day. Good to have remembered 💡

I did get an ancient chest of tributes on my first few tries, but then after that, I also got a couple of ashen wind skulls, but I ended up getting lots of crates.

I was going to sail tonight and I wanted a chill sail and gambling seems like a great way to chill and not worry about losing loot (unless I get the Athena in which case I will worry)

Just a little tip for those wanting to hide loot properly, you can partially bury loot before fully buried and 1) it will be more hidden then if you just placed it down and 2) it wont show up in your map bundle.

I think the idea of captain's chests is you go do one or two of them at the start of your session, so you can load up on supply crates and empty chests before going and getting good loot. I don't think they're meant to give you stuff you can sell, but make it easier to do stuff later.

Cliff I’m really happy with my self You inspired me to fight instead of run while trying to board the enemy and yesterday my friend had just left for a minute (my friend brother and I were on a brig) and with just my brother we managed to fight and sink a ship with a crew of two. Edit: I’m the only one that’s played for more than a few months

it dont always disappear after a server merge, quite a few times ive gone back to an island and my loot was where i hid it before the merge
