I found US masters so easy and cake walk when compare to INDIA. What I found tough is job search and internship search. Which is why study becomes tough. Considering the xenophobia in the US I faced rejections in enormous numbers despite a stellar academics and professional experience. As soon as you fill the job application which requires “ future sponsorship” you will receive rejections in a minute automatically. I applied for more than 3000 jobs in the last 2 years and received only 5 interviews. It’s just overwhelming for me considering I had a good job and was earning a good salary in INDIA. So be ready for beating the shit out of everything and not give up. Finally after a two year struggle I not only had an internship and full time job offers but I will be working where I could have never thought of. In the fortune 30 company. So stay focused, work hard and never give up. And remember USA is not the only country in the world if you have talent.

If someone is planning to go to US , build up your skills to write research papers and chapters during your bachelors. I understood it's importance by 3rd year of my B Tech. Thanks for the video! So important to stress on the rejection handling aspect. I applied for so many internships, so many jobs, and could only get calls from 2 or 3 of them, and that too because I was able to meet those recruiters in person and not just apply online. It sucks waking up every day and seeing 12 rejections in your e-mails. Also it’s so important to stress why one wants to come to the US. I believe things have a better chance of working out for you if you know what you want to do. Just coming here to graduate and work at a job to get H1B is like wasting one’s life only to feel anxious about things such as immigration which aren’t even in one’s control.

Almost everyone on RU-vid staying in US or any other foreign countries is making videos about not moving there... I don't know if it's my anxiety and frustration that makes me speak this but sometimes this all reality just shatters dreams of students aiming for it and leave them broken and empty! I know you are just being brutally truthful but reality hits a lot maybe that's how you become tough but being a student all these videos make me want to shut everything up and leave everything. Though it's sad but it's true...

@Vaibhav Shah If everyone goes on border to fight then it'll only make the country hollow, in the same way if everyone stays back in India then who is going to represent us globally. I understand your points and respect them but just saying and repeating the stereotype in not going to make any difference. The truth is that wherever you go life will be tough whether it's India or abroad, you'll have to work your asses off. Many youtubers living there just to make views use those complications in a very over dramatic way like man c'mon we know it's not heaven there and you won't be spoon fed there. If you want something work for it and it's nothing any easier or harder it depends on the person, their compatibility, their choices. Telling the truth is important but they should also be clear that it is not holding back other children aspiring to go there.

Man, eduction system is almost same, it is just slightly different. I do teach here in Australian college... but the social structure of India is responsible, when I cam here in Australia, there was no interference of relative or “” Kya khege log”” type of tuff... I did what I could, start with all kind of jobs and study all together... and getting busy that makes all difference. But in India you can not start anywhere... you must have certain level of job to start and many student just could not just start ... for long time and that push them in a negative cycle.. and some students feel good here in western country because of freedom of choice.. that’s what I experience.

For studies, you can prefer the US, but if it comes to work (H1 B visa) it's quite tough. Because it is based on the Master's degree which you prefer. For CSC, ECE, EEE the job opportunities are good. For Mechanical and Civil Engineering it's very difficult to get the job. There won't be any sponsors for your work visa. All the big companies will anticipate an experienced employee. In this case, Internships also doesn't work. They'll hire on a contract basis. More than that, there is a lottery system called computer-generated random generated process. these a the hurdles you have to face, If you decide to stay on USA

First you kids make your parents spend all their lives earnings on your education and then you complain that it isn't easy? Try saving money to send your kids to college if you manage to settle in USA. Your parents in India are better achievers than you can ever be with your American degree and job. So kiddo learn to appreciate the small things in life. Life isn't about MS and migration, it's about how you live it anywhere.

1. Most Indian students who join workforce here will realize that they breed to apply for Green Card. That's when reality hits hard. 2. Indians in USA ARE discriminated against because of country caps that is racist. 3. As of today, time to get a green card for an Indian - close to 100 years. But the same for an immigrant from Pakistan, Europe, Bhutan etc - 1 year. 4. . You will spend your life doing H1B renewals. At any particular instance, an officer could reject your application and you will need to self deport USA. 5. If you lose job or get laid off, you will have 60 days to get a new job. If you don't get a job by then, you will need to self deport. 6. If primary applicant falls sick or dies, family needs to self deport. Doesn't matter if your kids are born here, they attend school etc. 7. Situation. Is very dire for parents whose kids are born in India. The kids need to join H1B work force after 18 years of studying and living here. All these problems only for Indians. If this is not discrimination, what is????

Never do ur PG right out of bachelors. Work n come on H1B visa only if coming to US. And everything u said about the diff in education was the first thing i realised in my 1st sem there. Failed the first sem. Avg Btechs of India will become failures there. U have experienced the very first challenges ive experienced yrs ago. Utube was in beta version at the time. Or i wouldve made a video. U just sound like me in my first year in Michigan. This is so sad that kids still go through this. I helped a friend in finishing assignment, the rest of the indians in class copied my algorithm from him. My code was right but since my friend made a mistake in his code, the rest of the plagiarism of indians in the class go exposed. Its as simple as that. It was the most embarrassing thing in my first sem. They hate us for that in college. That indians r so cheap. U wont see an avg american borrowing even a pencil during a test. They show such integrity in their efforts.

I agree that there is a lot more practical knowlegde in USA but I want to say that in India also, this is exactly the pattern that there will be 5 assignments of one subject , there will be projects, so, coming to usa after a "good" university in india would not be a problem. It also depends on Student's perspective that they study like that and gain less practical knowledge to get jobs and money.
