I agree on the greasy foods but spicy and flavor-full foods haven't been a problem. Large portions were also problematic. I started ginger shots or 1 oz of ginger juice in a glass of water and that tamed the nausea.
she will gain back and more. useless to take without making an effort to change. I would be ashamed of this, congratulations - your wife have 0% willpower
I had fun exploring new and healthy foods. This medication really helped a lot with changing my lifestyle. I'm too grown to be fighting against something and someone that is trying to help save MY life.
I’m eating some broccoli right now that I dry sauteed and added only black pepper. It’s not bland. The pieces that have no pepper are also not bland. It might be bland if I boiled it to death.
Nope. Been eating that way for years. Even with ozempic I’m losing very slowly. But at least I’m finally losing though. But I haven’t really changed much. I’m now more consistent with eating ( I have to eat or I’ll get really sick ). So I actually eat a little more not by much. Ozwmpic hopfully will correct my insulin resistance.
@@Divanhellyou don’t look overweight in your picture, but anyways- many people say that they eat low calorie diets and still they’re gain weight. You don’t gain weight unless you’re putting in more calories than you consume. A lot of people up their intake of calories from drinks and sweets, could this be the cause? You could also be growing muscle if you are hitting the gym. The body’s shape and metabolism varies with age
@G666REY I have made a gastric surgery for my overweight about 4 years ago and I am still at BMI 37 so I am considered obese, despite the pic 😅 I guess I just know my angles. I don't go to the gym atm due to a toddler at home, so there's no energy to work out. But I am eating as I am supposed to. 🤷🏻♀️ I have Pcos however, so it's probably that. 😕
So far… no side effects and I’ve been able to eat whatever I want. But I did a lot of work prior of my gut lining and I use the sauna 4 times a week and poop daily. People with all these issues really need to make sure their detox pathways are open.
I tried this medication and I could never use the toilet without a lot of pain and discomfort as well I required laxative all the time. I no longer take it
@@truffleshufflI’m on so much morphine that I only go to the toilet twice a week 😢😢I’ve heard the congestion helps people feel more full on ozempic, but if I took it I would probably never go to the toilet. I feel like a lot of people jump on ozempic without exhausting other options first.
@@MarielisTrochebelieve me I force myself to eat. This morning I had one bagel and cheese with coffee black. My stomach is a bit messed up however I am only thirsty not hungry. I’ll have some watermelon and pawpaw later.
My side effect has been a food like sensation in my chest that kinda stays. It’s like indigestion where you feel your food come back up and sits in your chest. I’ve been to the ENT twice, speech pathologist, and had a barium swallow and no issues were found. All of that for a speech pathologist to tell me to swallow harder. She cost over $300 for that non- working solution of swallowing harder.
Didn't know this! So far I've been okay. But I've never put the two together. Between my EPA, DHA, MAGNESIUM, MET, OZMPC, I have frequent diarrhea. Never thought it was OZ
Its definitely from the OZ...my husband had horrible diarrhea from it so he had to go off it for a few weeks to see if it would go away and it did so he didn't go back on it because his diarrhea was so bad he couldn't leave the house because he thought he would poop himself.
You can eat almost anything you want you'll just be full a lot faster. The greasy food thing is kind of true. Gives you more trips to the bathroom but spicy foods are fine.
Give it time and you will have side effects, like early aging of your face as well as hard to replace muscle loss. You can accomplish better results with proper food and exercise.
@@RealEstateInsider247 not taking it anymore. Eventually had no appetite at all. As for the "proper exercise" comment, everything I do is physical therapy as a stroke survivor. But not having any appetite greatly limited my energy to do anything, thus, I quit the Ozempic. My appetite came back as did my energy.
@@luzcruz4087I’ve continued eating spice and I’m still losing weight. The only thing it does is trigger some side effects but I’ve had little to none while taking Semaglutide.
I’m always the exception. I get all the side effects. I just restarted ozempic and so far it’s nausea and vomiting oh and an awful headache but it’s just the first 3 days after I do the shot. Kinda feels like a bad hangover so I try drinking plenty of water. I’m hoping this passes. Haven’t lost any weight yet but it’s only been a few weeks. I almost want to give up but I have young kids that look up to me so I have to keep trying to lose weight and lower my A1C. I’m at 12.😢
Im taking it for pre diabetes but everything I eat, the salt and sugar are magnified. Everything is unpleasant, but Im constantly searching for something satisfying.
I'm so thankful I'm able to lose weight naturally by controlling specific foods I eat. I'm thankful I don't have to use Ozempic as I would fear side effects later down the road.

I had some broccoli 🥦 and it made me SO SICK!!! It was the super greens from Panda Express and all I ate were 3 large broccoli pieces, nothing else and I threw up for 24hrs straight. No more broccoli for me. I can eat asparagus, spinach and romaine lettuce and that’s it for the veggies.
You're right, Daniel! Food has a direct impact on blood sugar, but Ozempic also plays a role by enhancing the body's natural response to meals. Stay tuned for more!
I am VERY glad I truly love healthy veggies and don’t like eating fatty foods often. My good friend hates vegetables. She will only eat ONE vegetable and only in ONE dish from her home country. That’s it. I can’t imagine why she has high cholesterol. 😬
I've been using it for four weeks without altering my diet. I don't usually eat very spicy (as in Hot) foods but haven't encountered any problems. Occasionally, eating a small bite of food can briefly trigger mild nausea, but aside from that and a slight decrease in appetite for food portions, I've experienced no side effects.

I am able to eat somewhat spicy foods, but I use mainly peppers or fresh herbs as spice - maybe that's the difference. One thing I can't stand now is even the smell of fried foods. I normally have no nausea, diarrhea, or anything like that - but if I even smell bacon cooking I get kind of nauseous. I've been on the 0.5 mg dosage for about a year and have decreased my insulin usage to about 15 units a day. I'm about to transition to the 1 mg dosage. I suspect I may be able to come off of the insulin altogether after that. .

What do they mean by spicy? Do they mean 5 alarm fire spicy, or any foods made with lots of spices? Curry is one of my favorite spices, and you can have it without the heat. Is that still going to cause upset stomach?
Anyone able to drink alcohol after the shot? Left me incredibly sick last weekend after taking my first .5 shot on the Thursday. Vomitting like a teenager at their first disco.
@@jollyraizada6846 I had to do a process of elimination with foods...discovered what doesn't work well with my body while on Ozempic. Going through a huge process of elimination and then added prebiotic/prebiotic foods together turned everything around. I have not had issues since then and I also am not in a rush to move dosages quickly. I've been doing slow increases by .25mgs and counting by clicks.
I take it in the morning with Berberine and Spermidine to help with fasting and Autophagy. A cup of coffee gets me throuhg to a small late lunch that's less than 400 calories then eat dinner later.

Maybe people already tried that before turning to an injection for assistance? Or maybe they have hormone conditions that cause weight gain where dieting and exercising barely make the scales move? 🤔
@@FlavaAv exactly! Pre-diabetes, post-menopausal, and non-functioning thyroid - this medication is an additional tool for me that helps when all efforts at "eat less / move more" don't work by themselves.
